What i understood or in my opinion we have to see through male lead perspective. I think this drama fully focused on male lead. Yes he is caring, lovable, egoistic, narcissist and so on. But for female lead she didn't fully understand him. Once she understand him they will be good couple. Thats what I expecting in upcoming episodes of next week.
Some dramas make want you to do love. This is such a drama. I watched one spring night and something in a rain. Same director for this as well but sadly he passed away. His good direction and making cast to do natural acting scenes are my favourite part of his work. I don't saw on other dramas like his work. This drama should be 8.5+ rating for those episodes. Can't wait for next episodes.
This should be 8.5+ rating. Ryan Cheng acted truly lived in this character. I don't see any lack from him. Such a good drama. Can't wait for next episodes.

You will be regret my friend. The first few episodes are slow paced but once you crossed episode 15 you can't stop watching remaining episodes until this ends. This is best drama of year after POJ in my opinion.

What a cinematography, direction, music, casting, acting, writing and so many🙌🏻. It is a masterpiece 💥. I will rate this to top one in my list. Before watching this my top one is "the story of minglan." This will eats two minglan shows I think 😤. I can't stop crying at the end of the show. It's so satisfying 😭
I see so many of them against the against of current's episode 39. And someone of them disappointed too. But i understood why the skip the time of court affairs because this show not about to fight to explain the whole Empire and emperor affairs this is about lin family's and their inner house affairs against some grounded villains. It is good to see they skips time in between this episode and well handled because they explained in the start of this episode. They showed in opera even though jinqi is good to the emperor he still gets killed by him by means of dirty and corrupted politics around the court capital. That is why he resigned after he served for three years for the emperor. My Rating is 9.7 upto till this episode. Level of detailing is perfectly good in this show. Can't wait for upcoming episodes.
I expect this show end upcoming week but so frustrated they push and releasing one episode per day on wards upcoming week 😭. I thought i bringe watch this, once it's ended. But they push these to next week to next week 😤😤.
