I'm so curious to see how this show will end. The drama is really trying to educate the viewer and with KHN technically being the antagonist to KDK, while legally doing the right thing, I can't help but feel like it won't end well for Rainbow Taxi.
Do people forget or are not aware at all that Kang Hana isn't us the viewers who have complete idea about rainbow…
Thank you! Personally, I love how I am able to empathise with both parties. :) The portrayal of morally grey characters is the best part about this drama!
Really nice article, hope even more people will give Taxi Driver a go after reading this. I really anticipated this drama and it exceeded my expectations ! I just love how the characters are neither good nor bad and I appreciate the written words at the end of each episode; they do their best to educate the viewers. There's a good chance I'll soon have another Je Hoon Drama in my top 5 ! :D
Am surprised over the action scene comments. The PD made City Hunter ,a superb action drama with many cool sequences.Am…
I don't think the issue lies with PSH but with the villains, they are plain stupid and make obvious mistakes that shouldn't be made by trained special forces (all of them are male btw). Still having a good time watching the show though! :)
I don’t know who needs to hear this but dramas with sci-fi tags do attract a different group of audience than…
Exactly! It's not bad enough for me to stop watching yet, but I hate how many chances they had to shoot her and then didn't even try. The garbage truck for example was really slow, even someone with no experience shooting would probably be lucky enough to hit them, let alone trained officials, which I'm pretty certain these men are supposed to be. The moment PSH stepped out the door the scene got ridiculous. It's a work of fiction and the genre is not slice-of-life so I don't expect complete accuracy, but I would like it to be at least a bit more believable..
I have watched the movie years ago, but I don't remember it that well anymore. So I don't know and I frankly don't really care how close it is to the original. The first episode was extremely funny (I loved the Sky Castle OST cameo :D), the actors did a great job in portraying their roles so far and I'm a big fan of Yoon Sang Hyun, so I'm excited to see where this is going!!
I've just finished the 8th episode and I absolutely love it! It is rather funny in my opinion, at least I'm laughing…
They only form the team in the third episode I think, so it might be a good idea to watch as much and then decide. Hope you'll like it better the second time around. :)
Is it one long con case or several cases they gets closed every few episodes? Is it funny?Hope someone can help…
I've just finished the 8th episode and I absolutely love it! It is rather funny in my opinion, at least I'm laughing all the time. Also, the cases are connected so far.
I drop dramas all the time, because I wholeheartedly believe that time is best spent doing something I actually enjoy. And I love dropping dramas before even starting them! I do that every few month to keep my plan to watch list up to date.
If it is just the mind playing tricks on the players, why would only Jin Woo and those he formed an alliance with…
Yes, that is true, but if this is supposed to work with the game the trigger has to be the sight. Which is kind of true for dreams too, were you imagine the ice cream and then evoke already existing memories you have of ice cream. But we've been shown, that Jin Woo was able to hear and feel the impact of arrows coming from behind him. Since he didn't see the shooter and so couldn't have predicted the arrows, his other senses shouldn't have been manipulated.

Well we will see how they are going to try to explain all of this, but I don't think anyone will be able to explain it in a "scientific" way. I think they have to go the fantasy way, since there are a lot of things that don't add up. For example the lenses itself. They are a necessary part to play the game, right, but J One just announced them in the beginning of the drama, so they are not available in store yet. How did Se Joo and Marco even develop and play the game without knowing that those lenses existed and how they worked? Also, let's just imagine that the brain actually is this easily manipulated to even hear sounds and feel things that are not really there just by seeing something. How would that still work when you close your eyes or something is behind you?
What do you folks think about my explanation for the plot? Overall theory: The dying in game would have the same…
If it is just the mind playing tricks on the players, why would only Jin Woo and those he formed an alliance with be affected by it? The game testers and even Jin Woo himself, before he beat Cha Hyun Suk, were fine being killed and did not actually feel the damage, even though the brain seemed to be already tricked to be able to feel the swords. And also, Jin Woo sees and is affected by Cha Hyun Suk even without wearing his lenses..
By which ep were you hooked?I almost finished ep 6 and I'm bored to death :(
I was hooked after 2 -3 episodes. 6 is quite a lot, you should consider spending your time with something you enjoy more. It might just not be the drama for you ^-^
20 minutes into the 1st ep and NOTHING happened. I'm suffering already T_T Can somebody tell me If it's worth…
I was ready to drop the drama after the first episode, but I continued and it is now my favourite airing drama! It depends on what you like though, because I'd say it is a character driven story and not really action-packed. ^^
I enjoyed the drama, but they should have cut the romance or at least given it more time to develop properly. And yes, the kiss scenes are awkward, but I think it fit the characters and the overall comedy of the drama. :D

Btw Tae Sul reminds me so much of Tony Stark for some reason.
