What I don't understand....why couldn't Cir be with Phu in high school instead of stalking him for 4 years which set off alarms in Phu. Typical bs from Mame. I think I am done with her style of writing...or lack thereof. I don't think she has a real understanding of the human mind or how relationships work...in her writing--it's stalk them, attack them, and then fuck them. Seriously when I was 13 I could write a better romance. I overlooked a lot of so called "relationship" in Tharn Type and was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt in LITA, but after seeing The Boy Next World I am just not going to watch anything she has in the works again. It is all very caveman mentality.
Still waiting. I hope we eventually will get to see this series. I feel bad for Jeff and Barcode and the rest of the cast and crew. They worked hard on this and should be given their due.
This series is so good. I had my reservations at first because of the actors age, but after watching the first two episodes the reservations have disappeared. The script is excellent. The actors are at a level 10 already. I hope to see these actors again in the future in other series. Looking forward to episode three.
The music for the nc scenes was Just plain bad. Instead of being romantic or even just a hint of romantic music, it sounded like something that was Club music and not the least bit sensual. But then the NC scenes themselves were pretty damn lackluster anyway. I didn’t care about the characters. The story was pretty blah and the actors did the best job they could with what they had. I usually don’t go around badmouthing BL series, but in this case deserved, I did however like a few of the actors and hope they get better parts in the future.
There is more episodes to come so the ending hasn't happened. But so far I love this series. IQIYI thumbnail for this series shows 25 episodes, but they are only released 6 episodes. I have no idea when they will release more.
