Planning to watch this. Is this pure entertainment type or preachy type, which tries to justify flawed characters in the name of humanity?
I'm tired and sick of watching preachy dramas.
First of all, there is no such thing called reality. We all always twist our emotions according to our convenience based on situation we are in. So fair, unfair thing is completely inexistence.
It's makes me laugh whenever people mention close to reality realistic drama i have ever seen.
I'm still lost why i wasted my time watching this preaching, justifying character behaviors in the name of humans, humanity. I must punish myself for being born as an human.
Idk why, whenever wife cheat, writers goes any length to justify "woman don't cheat for no reason".
Then what about the women who slept with husband, they find comfort which wife never find with husband and decided to take matter to next level. If we see things from others women point of view, cheating is justified because "women don't cheat for no reason".
Tae kyung being ready to be a father for Yoondoo baby is really a big deal. It was never an easy decision to make but everyone taken it so easily and this drama itself present it as not a big deal.
It seems even Yeendo taken it lightly. That's the biggest draw back for me in this whole drama. They failed to convey it properly.
When main leads story itself super weak, all other family drama simply becomes as super big headache.
They twisted characters according to convince instead of establishing properly.
I know, long dramas takes so much time to establish character development properly but this drama completely failed in that aspect.
I even don't know what kind of story they're trying to say now and how they want to end it in these last few episodes.
My liberation notes, extraordinary woo, to be honest almost every recent kdrama, atleast one character has that kind of arcs.
For me, these flawed characters arcs are more dangerous than pure evil characters.

Even though season 2 watchable but it's lacks freshness barring few excitements, everything is flat.
If they make season 3, it will become completely routine thing.
