Okay so, gender bender dramas are by far one of my favorites, not just because I love the boyslove appeal that it brings but also that even if you are a female, or male you can still find love or your mission to be complete, whichever motive you have. But this has a deeper meaning to it.
So, boyslove dramas are my favorite and gender bending dramas give that sort of appeal without a lot of backlash from the country about same sex couples and orientation being portrayed on screen. And i don't know for everybody but i love rooting for the girl to get the guy or to get the kiss (especially in romcom's or cheesy drams or movies that you love so much but still are cheesy), but in the back of my mind I'm sitting there with guilty pleasure about the lead actor falling for a "guy" when IRL you know that they're female and your still happy about it.
Gender bender dramas typically have the cross dressers motives come through for them. Most times the love interests, or mission objectives fall in love which in most cases is a plus for the cross dresser but then also becomes the problem and i love how the drama creates the solution. I also love how the SLS can get tangled up in liking the cross dresser, hence "to the beautiful you." I mean that SLS "dad" part, no spoilers but if you've seen that part you know what I mean.
Whether your trans, or gender-fluid, or just cross dress for fun or a reason, you deserve love and that can be from a significant other or your friends and family. And I'm super proud and happy that you decided to try that experiment and if you were to try again i would fully support you. I think a lot of viewers got 'lazy' (tho it's not their fault, they just got use to everything being easy to read)…
I haven't seen the show yet, I'm starting on it tonight, but i agree with Kate 100%. The way that TV shows get more views and have faithful viewers is not handing the viewer the whole story at the beginning because the show can and will get boring after all the cards have been relieved and its not even the 2nd or 3rd episode yet. We want to guess and theorize constantly, clinging to next weeks episode saying "what will happen next" or "i knew he was the culprit!" etc. You discuss with your friends or neighbors or strangers about the current parts that are happening. It keeps people more involved, at least that's my opinion.
wanna know the sad thing people, i actually watched it for the guys they are Really cute but the whole while i felt so bad for the investors like Samsung, and Hyundai. I love your review about this.
i haven't seen this one yet but i will get on it, but the original ver. is one of my favs. I had some conflicts with it but it was overall cute. i didn't research if they were going to stay with the original story line just update it.
