I LOVE LOVE LOVE that there was no break up period, that automatically makes this drama a 10/10. Tbh i feel like the uncle and hockey couple could have been deleted and the main plot wouldn't be affected, they were kinda useless characters.
Finally, the best part of this drama is that there is communication!! Most romance dramas have like 30 year old characters never talking and acting immature, but this drama doesn't do that and I love it.
Xiao Zhan and Bai Bai He need to be in like 50 more dramas together, their chemistry is so natural, I wouldn't be surprised if they are dating in real life
The uncle character has to be the most annoying character ever, dude just keeps showing up everywhere.
I suspect they might break up in episode 35, tbh the ML does have some growing to do, he is lying to the FL about his family situation and acting a bit immature, but he is young, I think this is the lack of experience the mother was talking about. I REALLY hate time jumps but I hope they don't rush the ending too much.
Tbh I understood where his parents were coming from, their concerns were very valid, props for writing a realistic conversation between a parent and child. I love that they did not insult the FL and instead their concerns were more with the realities that their son will have to face because of where he currently is in life.
They know their son will try and give Jian Bing everything because of how deeply in love he is but he won't be able to because he currently doesn't have the means, and this will end up hurting their son.
TBH I wish we could get a 40 episode drama of just Sheng Yang and Jian Bing going through life together, their excellent chemistry alone would carry that drama

Episodes 26 and 27 were amazing!! This is what we the audience wanted, more screen time between Sheng Yang and Jian Bing, they are amazing leads, their conversations are so natural, I love it!
Im happy that episode 22 was almost entirely the main couple, this is what we want!! We want them to have the most screen time. I also do love the relationship between Song Chen and Pan Rou too, they have grown on me and are always entertaining. I absolutely hate that ex husband, he cheated on the FL so many times and then has the audacity to say to the FL that the ML will hurt her, I am so happy the FL said "you already hurt me enough" to him, he is such a hypocrite, bro you cheated so many times and now you are acting like you care about her??
