This was a MASTERPIECE !!! It is now my no 1 k-drama . I thought no drama would ever surpass my previously number 1 "Crash landing on you" but THIS one did . IT IS NOW. The best chemistry ever. I love Gong Hyo Jin. She is an amazing actress. She is always very affectionate in the way she portrays the female character. At least in this one she was TOP. What can you say about Zo In Sung? Couldn't imagine any other actor portraying this role. Everything about this drama was so wonderfully made. So many unforgettable scenes that I keep rewatching. Every character was interesting and there were so many things to learn. The music and songs were amazing too and fitted so well .

1994 was when he met her for the first time and got the part time job in the bakery and then he left and got to juvenile again.
1997 they met again by chance while he was carrying a grandma to her house. He had passed his GED test. It was the day before his MILITARY enlistment. They spent a night together in different beds and she made the email for him without giving him a password in order to communicate. They had a KISS.
2000 he figured out the password after having rented her old apartment and figured it was the locker password and contacted her. By that time he was working in a gym. They called each other at 13:00 and she tried to call him again at 18:00 but his phone broke due to police arresting people from the gym. She sent him and email saying "let's meet up when something good happens". So they DIDN'T MEET in 2000.
2005 they both have good jobs and his company happens to move to the 2nd floor of her job. So they meet again and they get officialy together spending happy times this time around. Then we have the incident with his friend's death anniversary and her finding out about it. They break up ( i still can't figure out why). He runs after her and she doesn't accept him. Then she has a talk with her older friend (noodle shop) about her friend trusting him back in 1994 which nobody had ever done, not even his grandma/aunt/teacher. He also told her that he would open up a bakery for her (the noddle shop friend).
Finally we have the last scene which is probably from 2005 again.
I was good, but I'd have like it, if at the end, FL would have apologised for just up and leaving him when ML…
Sometimes these kind of movies end like that with us imagining that the sorry and apologizing will happen. But unfortunately these scenes are not shown. You just have to make up that scene in your mind. Frustrating right?
ok I just finished it yesterday and I must say it was a MASTERPIECE of its kind. So many emotions. I liked all seasons the same and I cried many times. The only thing I didn't like very much was killing all the characters. I even pitied Seo Jin in the end. She did everything for her daughter. I pitied all the characters except for Dan Tae. But they could have left Soo Ryun and Logan live. But in this show there were innocent people who died, people who got what they deserved and people who felt guilty about being responsible for some deaths (like Soo Ryun and Yoon Hee. I liked the last scene where Soo Ryun and Logan walk to the afterlife and Soo Ryun says to Logan "there are people we have to meet. You'll be very happy to see them" and I imagined them being with all their beloved ones. I would have liked one more scene like in the final episode of LOST if you know what I mean.
Besides Jin Ah’s terrible kissing this was pretty good.Jun Ho was incredible 🥰
Yes, Won Jin Ah wasn't such a great kisser in this drama but it was her first drama role so she seemed quite shy and reserved in her kissing scenes. Lee Jun Ho tried his best but it takes two to film a great kissing scene. (She gets better in Melting me softly though). That didn't bother me at all though because the story, the characters and the emotions and feelings this drama gave me was worth every second of it. It is a drama that really makes you feel their pain, guilt and suffering and how they were trying to overcome it. Well done and one of my top 5 since 2011.

I have been watching kdramas since 2011 and I have learnt NEVER to trust ratings anymore. I will judge the drama myself by choosing to watch it or not after watching at least 4 episodes. This drama surprised me from the 1st episode and I will definitely give it a 9 . So I don't even care or bother looking at the ratings anymore. Let's take for example the drama IF YOU WISH UPON ME. It has a rating of 8.4 in mdl from 9000 users BUT in VIKI it has a rating of 9.6 from 35000 users. So ?????? what does that mean ?????? That is a huge difference. So I always just trust my feeling and I have gone crazy over dramas that had a low rating and I have hated dramas that had a very high rating.
What an AMAZING drama. How could I have missed such a gem. I am blown away by the story and characters. The ML and FL are fantastic in expressing their feelings and pain and I also loved their youngselves. I remember the girl from still 17 and the boy is quite a talent !!!! Thanks to the writer and actors/actresses for giving us this fantastic drama. WORTH spending every minute watching it.
