Awwwwwwwwwwww 7.9 you guys! You can keep rating it low if you want.Addicted, the OG toxic BL one of the most successful…
I feel like a lot of my fave dramas are rated so low. and the highly rated one’s I think will be so good and I’m like meh… lol. I get so confused. But I have to remind myself that what I may find amazing, another person might find annoying. 🤷♀️ and I just need to give anything I’m interested in a good fair chance and form my own opinion or I might miss out.
Thank you. 😊 Everyone has their own opinions & I respect them. I loved this drama. And am totally obsessed. I’m struggling to find something else to watch because it was that good for me. I adore the characters and the actors so much. that‘s just how I feel regardless of what anyone says, that won’t change. and seeing all the posts & love for them on other platforms like Instagram just shows that I‘m not alone in how I feel. 💖
You liking this as your first bl is very interesting to me, what did you like about it?
Honestly, BL has never really been my thing, but I was looking for something to keep me busy and kept seeing all these amazing ratings and reviews. I decided to give Deep In a try, and since it only had 4 episodes out, I flew through it and immediately needed something else to dive into—and that's how I found Double Helix! And damn...
I'm naturally drawn to intense, high-stakes dynamics, but this one hit so much deeper. At first, I was frustrated by the constant pulling away, but once the mental health struggles were brought to light, it became incredibly personal. I cried so much. Being in that struggle myself, my perspective completely shifted from frustration to pure empathy & I was rooting for them so hard. Seeing someone stick through the darkest, messiest parts because they refuse to leave your side just resonated with me so deeply. I literally adore them as characters and in real life—they're so freakin' cute, and I'm just not ready to leave their world yet! 😭😭💖
this was my first BL drama. I finished it in one sitting. I‘m so sad it’s over. 😭 absolutely loved the main characters. they‘re so cute. 🥹so glad it had a happy ending. my poor heart wouldn‘t have been able to handle it!! I don’t know how I‘m gonna recover after that. I miss them already. 😭😭😭
I’m watching this on Viki and I did not realize that all the episodes were not out yet there and I finished…
I almost made that same mistake. I was on like 30 and realized there were only 33 so I had to chill for a bit before the rest were up! haha. I would have died.
So, this was my first F4 series. I did not watch Boys Over Flowers because I was like OMG, it's so old... 😅and their hair drove me crazy. haha. So I watched Meteor Garden & instantly fell in love. This is how I was introduced to Dylan Wang (I think. This or LBFD). Then, I found F4 Thailand. OMG. Then, eventually, because I had realized who Lee Minho was, I had to watch the original... and it didn't disappoint. I LOVE THESE SERIES! <3 I'm so sad I can't watch Meteor Garden anywhere right now, unless someone knows where to find it. I want to watch it so bad. Esp. because I started a FanFic about them all. I need some writing inspo.
I just started this drama because it has Yang Yang and I’m stuck in between dramas right now… but I’m a scrub tech and my husband is a firefighter so we will see how I feel about it. 😅
