What was the purpose of that meeting? They were ready to have as many hookers as male participants, but the death…
The purpose was to bring connection and legal circles for Hanjo using ex judges or prosecutors for their lawsuits and whatever illegal things. The meeting failed due to sudden death of PGS therefore Hanjo lost their lawsuit in 2018.
After all the criticism and complaints about how S2 is different from S1 from writing, acting and directing. I…
Many drama are pre-produced nowadays. The actors (CSW, BDN LJH) said everyone was under so much pressure to live up to S1. Of course they care, they could put 150% effort but it didn’t guarantee that the drama would be well received. The writer and director were under criticism because many fans were not happy with the pacing and keep comparing to S1. Most of us want S3 but whether the writer and actors are willing to take another risk? One can always hope.
After all the criticism and complaints about how S2 is different from S1 from writing, acting and directing. I don’t think they want to do S3, too much pressure. It’s impossible to live up to everyone expectation. I personally love this season so much and glad they took a risk and created a different story while still staying true to the essence of Stranger.
yes, it is about bullying, corruption, keeping silence and even hurt the person who tries to face their wrongdoings.…
Stranger S1 and S2 are much more than just catching the bad guys. They tell the flaws in the system that feeds corruption then people struggle to make the right choice, Drowning case shows how prosecutor closed the case quickly as a favor and police used it for publicity. If they both cared more about the victim and did it properly, they would know what really hsppened. Bullying is just one of many issues in each cases. Same with the Segok case, if the team leader didn’t stay silent about the bullying, officer Song didn’t have to commit suïcide. The writer has dropped multiple clues about suicide for us to connect, There are more things to be revealed in the last two episodes.
how come Park Shin Hye keeps doing dramas with male leads much older than her ? I don't have a problem with big…
Why why? She shouldn’t accept this drama, better to act with pretty boy with average acting skill so she could shine. Why did she take a risk to act with multi awarded , highly respected actor like CSW? Me too, I wish she would have stayed with actors of her range like LMH.
Nope me too, actually i wanna see more drama by the writer.I love stranger and i loved life too. she is really…
This writer writes her characters with layers and depth but in a very subtle way, most are unspoken. If an actor doesn’t have strong acting skills, character would look bland instead of intense ambiguity. It is more obvious when acting alongside with truly great senior actors.
I think that Season 2's ending will be magnificent. There is a reason that this series is pre-produced. TVN trusts…
I binged S1 in a few days. I really like it the first time but loooove love it more on my second rewatch. It’s when I discovered the depth of the story and the detailed characterisation and acting. I think you would enjoy S2 more if binge. They have warned us about the fog and disorientation of story since E1.
tbh episode 11 was a colossal waste of time...personally i am just not feeling this season ...it's so frustrating…
It’s understanding to feel frustrated when the new season didn’t live up to our expectations especially when we love the first one so much. It’s a dilemma for any artists to chose if they should follow the same format that worked before or try to not repeat themselves. Either way, they would face intense pressure and criticism after a huge success of their previous work. CSW had doubt that they could have more seasons in the recent interview even though it’s a project that he loves dearly. He feared people would be disappointed because they think new season is different or just so so. I am grateful that we could have CSW and BDN on screen again. This drama despite its flaws is a meaningful , high quality and still gripping work m. IMO it is much better than many nonsensical thrillers about some genius fighting psychopaths with no insight about personal struggles and social issues.
Wow. You are really obsessed with the writer. Ever since the show started you have been trashing her pointlessly.…
Ignore this Catocat, this person has been posting in many forums calling everyone choice is trash. The funny thing is he/she is always the first one to watch those drama and make sure post it as soon as the episode finish so that everyone could read his/her more intelligent view. This person rarely provides facts or proper argument to support his criticism . The question is why he/she needs to constantly telling himself/herself that everyone is dumber than him/her? Self confirmation?
anyone else here watching stranger 2? i just need some question answered jebal. Im currently at episode 8 and…
In E2, One of the cases Dong-jae brought to Tae-ha was the ex prosecutor who died from a suspicious heart attack. He was working for Hanjo as an advisor in secret. In E4, Dong-jae met with LYJ and asked her about this ex prosecutor. Choi-bit was the Chief Police officer at the station where his accident happened. Woo Tae-ha seems to know him personally. This case is linked to Hanjo, prosecutor and police, Also not sure if it’s relevant, in the drowning case, ex judge Oh was using his influence to close the case quickly. He is working for Hanjo as an advisor.
Nothing superficial and nonsensical about her script. There are layers of social and political contexts Inviting audience for some discussion. My favourite Korean drama writer. Smart, gripping and reflective writing.
It’s a crime that not many international fan know about this talented, handsome and charismatic actor. Instead they idolise flower boys with little to no talent. He doesn’t act, he become his characters whatever they are.
More people should watch this wonderful movie. Heart warming and funny film portrayed the life and struggles of an autistic boy and his mum. Oscar worthy performance from Cho Seung Woo who got the best actor award and the youngest actor received it at Baeksang. Recommend 10/10

Rule of thumb: Catocat = Ignore
