I was thinking the same. Somthing is wrong with this character. He knows ML is good person he did not even belive that he would cheat on his wife. Her boss recomanded her for partner but did not vote for her (and FL does not know she did not vote for her) so she now has same amount of votes with another person and thst is why she is on probation to prove that she is better candidate but they are not giving her cases that is why she asks her ex fiance to mentor her so she can work with him on his cases. That is what I understood but I may be wrong. In any case her boss is double faced, I don’t like her.
