Yes, such a shame. I really wanted to watch another Luo Zheng drama. I enjoyed his role in Cry Me A River Of Stars.

I love Luo Zheng after seeing him in Cry Me A River Of Stars. Started episode 1 of Make My Heart Smile and could not get past 30 minutes of it because of the FL. She slaps him when he's being filmed and when he grabbed her to save her from a turning truck, she got upset at him and said why did you grab me?

HELP!! Was this drama written for pre teens? I really wanted to watch it for Luo Zheng, but decided to keep my sanity, so i dropped it.

Can someone recommend a good Luo Zheng drama please?

When watching this drama, i suspended all sense of logic and enjoyed it purely for entertainment purposes.

I read some comments below who said they could not believe he left her after everything they had been through. Why didn't he wait for her.

My take on it was because he loved her so much, he was willing to leave her so she could enjoy her life. He was always selfless in his love and always put her first. He was not just a man who aged in 10 years, his vitality, life, enegry had all been zapped from him and given to her. My thinking is his ageing had been fast forwarded so he was very old. He spent ten years of loneliness with out her, therefore did not want her to experience this pain of loss.

As i said, this was my interpretation of their love story. I watched it for them. Was not too interested in the politics or side characters.

The ML was so handsome and Fl gorgeous, they made a beautiful couple and their romantic scenes appeared so natural. I would love to see them together in another drama.

They were not immortals, but at the end of episode 23 the ML visited the Monk who was highly skilled in medicine for advice. The Monk gave him the medicine and warned him that it would be a risk to him as it would take all his energy and visited to save her.

Love, love this drama. I was so invested in the main couple's love story and i was mesmerized by the ML's undying love, devotion and selfless love for the FL.

Like you i am struggling to move on from this drama. I keep re watching the last episode and am slowly waiting to re watch subbed episodes to have a better understanding of the story. I ❤ Luo Zheng and his devotion to her. I was planning on starting Luo Zheng's previous drama, Make My Heart Smile Again. But stopped after watchi g the opening theme song as seeing him with another FL would affect my enjoyment of his coupling with A Fan as i am re watching subbed episodes. They make a beautiful pairing, would love to see them together again. Have you seen Make My Heart Smile Again? What were your thoughts? I am trying to find more recent interviews, information and BTS of him/them, but there aren't many. Are you aware of any? BTW i plan on watching Lovers Of The Red Sky too but after it's finished airing.

The second wedding scenes are shown in episode 14 around the 29 minute mark. These are from TJR's imagination just before his wedding to HA.

Yep, powering through the unsubbed episodestoo. I am on episode 17 and plan on finishing this tonight. Due to my limited Chinese, i am probably missing out on some information, but can generally follow the story. I like how the ML has been up front and devoted to the actress and has never waivered from that. I personally find him very attractive, but agree that he would look better if he put on a little more weight. Yes, he has had some work done. But appears most of the actors from this drama have too. The FL is gorgeous and they make a beautiful pair.

@CeeVieAre Wow, lucky you! Can understand why you powered through. Wish i could too....Where did you watch the rest of the episodes unsubbed? My Chinese is considered basic on a good day, so won't be able to follow and understand the story. But would love to know where to watch it. Btw, won't ask for any spoilers, but were you happy with the storyline/content and ending in the later episodes? Or did it disappoint and become to draggy?

@ Noy The comments have been mixed so i really did not have high expectations when i started. But i enjoyed it from the first episode. Whilst the ML'S character is meant to be cold, he was never unreasonable and in fact very tolerant of the FL. The leads look good together, loving the romance between and interested to see how this will progress. I really like the ML abd FL very sweet and pretty. Great couple.

I did not expect to like this as much as i do. I just started yesterday and already up to episode 8. Regret starting it now as all episodes are not out yet. Very light hearted drama (just what i need at the moment), the leads are very good looking. It was pretty obvious to me that he had a soft spot for her very early on , but was trying to be professional. Then when he does, he is honest about his feelings.

Great advice. Thank you. I am trying to find another drama with similar/same love story as Hao Du and Leyan. ML being cold and ruthless initially, but changes because of love. And the female is shy, innocentand kind hearted. Can you or anyone else recommend me a similar romantic drama. Preferably less than 40-50 episodes.
