I am so sorry to disappoint you but I didn't watch the og version with closed eyes...I know he didn't really fall for her,he just wanted to be a real family of her and her dad but when he thought of getting married to her that thought ruined their bond and from there I couldn't see them as brother & sister anymore. The bond Ling Xiao Jianjian and Zhiqui shared was centre of the show..that's why stain on their relationship affected me

I am so sorry but I was overwhelmed by that scene.. cause I am fan of soft romance,I prefer feelings & soft romance over hard-core romance..It wasn't bad at all it's just that you were expecting more bold scenes that too in a kdrama cause as far as I know kdramas are known for their soft romance
