EP 1-4 was the backstory into the kidnapping of Veir, so you see Kelvin and Veir meeting for the first time and everything that lead up to Veir being essentially kidnapped and being held by Kelvin.

From EP 5 and on is the present, so you will see everything that is going to happen to Veir during the kidnapping and onwards

They might show little flashbacks but we are now into the present
