Honestly there is no need to bring Zhao Lu Si into this. Most new dramas on MDL start with low ratings, this is always a discussion point on almost all new dramas. I was actually happy when they didn't show the rating for a while, it always leads to people trying to justify the rating by blaming someone. Wish they could stop showing the ratings up until the drama is nearly over. Some really good dramas start off with as low as 6.9 and later on the rating goes up. Someone once noted there is a glitch in MDL when the dramas start, I don't know what happens just confident if the drama is good and we rate, the rating fixes itself in the end.

I can’t with their relationship, I think I will like it later when she is more assertive with him. Right now it’s like he hasn’t met his match yet. Thanks to trailers we know it will change, but presently their relationship is not my cup of tea.

We know she will still probably stay with him, it would be amazing if she didn’t. It’s in character doesn’t mean I have to love it, hard for me to love their relationship right now with all he is doing. He is hot but doesn’t get a free pass with me 😂

I think we can still be critical like we would with any character. Yetan didn't know YQ then. He knows QK and should think how she would feel, she would not stay with him. And he is saying it's his father but he also wants to do it. If you love a girl you would not kill the sister enemies or not, you would at least make sure she is safe before you kill the rest.

And then goes to hug the sister, and tells her more lies. He didn't care that he could have potentially killed Ye Tan and how QK would feel about that

I came to write the same thing. I was excited when she died but we are now back to square one. Nothing significant has changed and looking at previews she is still not a demon in those. It’s a drag now.

Love how Youqin's fam and masters were all willing to protect Ye Tan when they were attacked, she deserves all this love after her terrible childhood.

Also love her relationship with Youqin has been progressing, they are actually quite supportive of each other and selfless.

Yeah, I wonder if that annoying bully girl will turn really bad or not. I also think we are getting to know Ye Tan at a deeper level, the abuse she went through growing up and that will help understand her future decisions.

I think things will definitely change in the heavenly realm its peaceful right now and no succession wars, it's the calm before the storm. I just rewatched the trailer things will not stay peaceful. I do find the jokes funny in both realms.

So glad to see more of Qingkui's character so glad she didn't stay what the first impressions showed. The writers did not disappoint.

That new maid or she now a disciple story line doesn't make sense, she is obviously going to cause trouble later on. Why does she think she should get Yin Fan. She didn't even go through a trial to get accepted by Zhuo Ha's aunt. Chong Zi even helped her out but she hates her, so weird.

I still wouldn’t trade that story for their story as of now. I agree new stories can be done but they don’t need to be toxic relationship stories.

The one Cdrama it reminds of is Well Intended Love, I know completely different genre and story, but I loathed watching that, I wouldn’t want a manipulative ML to be the blueprint for dramas. It’s personally not fun for me to watch.
