Haishi would not stand for that, but no way am I shipping the Emperor with anyone right now, he is too abusive. Its not ok how he treats Tilan not matter the reason, its not her fault she looks like his love and not her choice to be sent there. He could at lest send her to the cold palace and never see her again instead of abusing her.

My two cents on the age thing and crossing dressing lol.. This happens a lot in C-dramas, its not affecting my viewing I am already used to it. This year we have already seen Rebel Princess, LOF, in terms of age & in fact LOF stands out more since ML was younger. (Just to be clear I have no objection) Weaving Tale in age and crossing dressing. In Weaving tale she had way more makeup and to be honest the story was not as interesting. At least Haishi has a really great character set up - she has great martial arts skills, character growth and intelligence. Also like her mannerism. I am enjoying the story and not focusing on age or cross dressing as the only drama I have seen that done well for female lead cross dressing was The Heiress. Most of C-Dramas crossing one can tell its a woman/girl.

I don't see it as she made a mess. She rescued that other tribe, that's why the women wanted to help rescue Haishi, she could have rode away but she didn't want to abandon her "brothers". She stayed to think of ways to free everyone, fought that guy managed to get 10 prisoners released and managed to help plan the rescue/escape from inside. If not for that jealous lady it would have been done smoothly.

Wonder how that sewing lady will die, I will not feel bad for her now after this last episode. Putting so many people in danger because of her jealousy.

Loved the rescue, they even had synchronized shooting bow an arrows at some point. I can't with those two, chemistry is great. Haishi looked beautiful in that tribes clothes.

The cute shop owner guy needs to be added to the harem too lol...

I think the ending is still a bit of a mystery. Reading the comments from novel readers, Tilan is not in the novel. Here the Emperor seems to have already fallen for Tilan, I know the synopsis says he will fall for Haishi, so far its hard to even imagine that with Tilan around..

What an entrance Hai Shi made in episode 14 in that battle scene . Love strong female leads!

It definitely has a good start and seems better than most of historical dramas this year. I really do not understand haters. I have actors and actresses I do not like, it's my issue not theirs. I know if I even watch their dramas I will not enjoy them since i already do not like the. I just avoid watching their dramas instead of going to leave a negative comment or rate. It's just not ok. The haters need to realize to not put their personal dislike of a person on a drama. These haters seem to be on a mission for people to dislike someone as much as them. So unacceptable.

Went to watch because of this comment, at least they have stopped bickering now I am getting annoyed by the number times FL eats and talks with food in her mouth lol.. I just skip most of the drama too.

To be honest this is really not a good drama, I really wanted to like it because I recently discovered Elvira Cai and like her , but looks like its getting worse. ML is tight lipped expecting FL to like him and FL can be immature. Side stories aren't that interesting though ML & FL are actually side stories. These dramas with 4 main story lines are really hard to pull off. Last episode I just watched is ridiculous. How can you blame FL for an accident, she was in a taxi, she was not even driving the car. So frustrating. The rich girl's character acts too entitled at times annoying.

I am going to miss this drama, acting was on point and enjoyed the story too.

Elvira Cai appreciation post. She carries this role so well, now I want to watch all her dramas. Steven is getting enough love on this feed already lol..

Really good drama, and defo underrated. One of the better stories released this year. Would have wanted more episodes.
