I have been waiting for this one. Enjoyed the first 5 episodes. I don’t see anything wrong with their age gap. They look pretty good together. I guess all those worried about age gap skip all the dramas, when the men are older too?
I think the chairwoman was bad before. Losing your daughter does not mean you were not bad. The reason I say she…
We can agree to disagree. I prefer the Goo family to the chairwoman. Funny you hold higher moral standards for kids who lost both parents at the same time than you do for her. You are ok with her bankrupting small businesses, virtually stealing from kids who have just lost their parents. You are more worried about her employees than you do of the employees of small businesses and families that lost their livelihood through her unethical practices. The sister hasn’t done anything wrong at all, why can’t she live with her brother? She might have an attitude but turns up when ever Hana needs her to, defends Hana and gives her money when she asks. At 12 you are still a child. Your frontal lobe fully develops at 25yrs. You are not even at statutory age at 12 .

I never accused her of murder. Ji Seok does not accuse her of murder too. He is getting revenge for the bankruptcy because it left them poor and suffering. Goo siblings love Hana. The sister always shows up for her when needed. She wrecked the ex’s car, there are other instances too, I will not go into that show they are family. She was still young when her parents died, like around 12. She was of no legal age, they hadn’t finished parenting her and she lost not parents at the same time. She also hasn’t done anything morally wrong, I quite like her. Unlike the chairwoman who is an adult should be held to a higher standard. Ji Seok is going to use business methods to give what she gave, he is well in his right to do so. He also cares for Hana. I’m not going to go through all the ways we have seen it and why he treats Hana the way he does, as that’s a lot of episodes to write about lol… Enjoy the drama, we are not even half way through. A lot of things will become clearer later.

According to Myeong Ji, YJ never used to flinch when she used to get threatening letters, she knew what she was doing. Her husband also knows she did those things.
Some of these comments made me rewatch the conversations Hana's adoptive parents had before the accident lol...
The father had a loan from the chairwoman, he still had a month to pay it back, but they were putting pressure on him to pay that day. He said he would go meet with the chairwoman to sort out the misunderstanding. She called him during Hana's performance and basically said, no need to meet, you have done good work. She was still taking the company. Then they had the accident.
So she continued with her plan, took over the company and didn't give Ji Seok any time of day to figure it out, yet they really still had a month. They cleared their house and took the father's business. Seems the thing the chairwoman does is loan small companies money then ask for it before they do need to pay it yet, companies that are doing relatively well, but are not cash rich, have not defaulted. She takes over the company. This happens at the end of episode 4. She bankrupt their company. She also used to get threats from families she did this to. Her company used to be called Hyesung Finance, loaning money, now it is Hyesung Group. This is how it bankrupt family businesses.
In episode 11, Ji Seok also has a conversation with his assistant, looked like they had gone through some information about her on an iPad or something and he was saying how she could have changed after her daughter's disappearance, but she is still raiding companies.

I never blamed her for theaccident, but think the bankruptcy is in her. There is evidence in that she gets threats and they just haven’t shown us the evidence Ji Seok has. I think Hana is also from some rich family, there is 0 evidence that Goo parents did anything to her parents. Adopting a child when you have kids can be a hard decision, we do not have a full context to what else could have been going on in their lives. The sister was young when her parents died, you can’t just say they didn’t raise her well . There is trauma in your parents dying when you are young and you might as well blame Hana too for raising her that way. The Goo family genuinely love Hana, they have their faults but they love her. That lie is not way to thank someone. Erasing their real father? Putting them in danger as a thank you? I guess we will have to wait and see. I will be really surprised if the chairwoman becomes the hero in this story
Funny, he is getting jealous of a non existent rival lol...
