I enjoyed this drama as a Drama. It's not a Well directed drama but It's enjoyable.The Real problem is The writer had a great Vision but the Directors couldn't reach it. Drama had Potential casts but they Didn't utilize them much storywise. There are many bloopers I am okay with except one, They said Li Xuan is that 'Most Powerful' Kid but there's no scene where they made him look That Powerful (Except when His father died). I thought They will at least let him kill that evil spirit but that didn't happen either. Also They Restricted ML And FL's Power many ways that they looked Helpless most of the times . Ya they Rushed and Did cut parts But The Ending Deserved one more Episode to be called a Perfect ending.
Another upsetting thing for me that they Dare to cut a sweet moment between Li Xuan and Su Youlian in eosiode 26 like seriously?? They Went through so many things in their respective parts but didn't get That Necessary Conversation till the end. I hope I can watch them In another good drama as Main Leads (Which seems Impossible) but Not in a histroical Drama Please.
I am in So much love with Her Roles(acting) . Watched AMA, Dance of the Sky Empire and Her Other Leading roles and she is really Really good. Hope I can See her in many Good Main Roles. I would like to see her in comedy genre the most. her Comic timing with facial expressions are amazing . She is lovely and Cute. I love how Youthful she is (off-set).
Very Good performer But very underrated. May be because she didn't accept roles for A long time?? I like her acting, not much cringy. She acts naturally.

There are reasons why her Expressionless Face totally Justifies her Character and Drama's progression .
1. she was on a Mission.
2. She shouldn't have fallen for the guy whom she should have killed. (Totally Forbidden love.)
3. She didn't Express her love many times so that Li Xuan Could Be Confused So Her and 2nd lead's Chapter could begin.
4. Talking about her in the Academy - she's not from a Royal Family, She is from an enemy Clan with a motive, her expressions should be In limit.
The Thing I like About Su Youlian is She Has Never thought about her Own Happiness, She could be happy by letting go her Clan/mission,/and Master and Live with Li Xuan As a Human, but Her Emotionless/straight face is what determines She hasn't achieve Her motto till now so she has to Focus on it seriously(Though she failed all the time)But I realized how powerful She is when she almost Defeated All three Of them To rescue Dragon Emperor.
And I have seen many Histroical dramas where straight face Is Required. And Wu Jia yi is a whole expression package if u have seen her in AMA and The court enemy or off-screen. I think people need to understand her Restricted/limited character before Complaining the only thing again and again.
And About The dragg of of ML's story is no surprise Either. Many Chinese Directors Do that on regular Basis. It's not exception.
