Strong woman was a 'meh' drama for me. I finished it, but it wasn't anything too great. I must admit that there were some scenes that I just loved. I love both of the leads but the story line wasn't to my liking.
While you were sleeping was a highly anticipated drama for me. Finally I could see another Lee Jong Suk drama but who would have thought that I ended up watching this drama for a whole other reason! Jung Hae-In!!! He stole all the spotlight hahahahaha! So funny.
Descendants of the Sun was a shocker. I'm really laughing right now at all the people that turned this one down :D All the 'Bins' were there hahahaha even Gong Yoo. Honestly, I can't see the leads of this drama being played by anyone else. AND! SBS must have kicked themselves after they saw how popular it got. That last one just had too much irony lmao!!
I'm usually not a fan of high school dramas, but THIS!!! This was just too beautiful. I loved it. All the actors were great. The ending seems a bit incomplete though, so I'm totally hoping for a season 2!! Waiting For good news!

Cheating - Taking the time period and rules guiding the human society at that time into consideration, there is no evidence that showed Soo Ho cheated on his wife. He was loyal to his wife all that time although he knew he held no great love for her. Also, him drinking form BongYi's cup means nothing. Generally, he was friendly with all his servants as you saw during that scene. They all adored him. Also, him drinking from the cup is kind of equivalent to him receiving a drink from a gisaeng. Men in those Times, married or not, would seek the company of gisaeng now and again. It's a sad fact, but women back then could do nothing about it.
Valid Jealousy? - sure she had a right to be jealous. But she couldn't get pregnant and they needed an heir for the family - you know how that goes. Unfortunately, there was now sperm bank back then so there was only one way to get the surrogate pregnant. Even if it wasn't BongYi, he'd still have to sleep with whoever the elders chose. And about him having the power to choose. My friend, not even the King of Joseon had the power to choose freely.
I don't understand how people are saying this plot is a mess? Maybe I'm hypnotized or something but this is a pretty solid plot to me. And I've totally been enjoying this so far...even after my disappointment with Shin Se kyung in Habaek. To me she's showing real talent in this drama.
I actually finished or have on my To-watch list most of the dramas here. But for some reason I found your article funny hahaha! I respect your analysis on these dramas. Even for some of them that I had finished. I'll tell ya, I was only able to finish Hwarang because of the bromance between the boys. They might have well had just taken everyone else out and made it into a reality show. Yeah, I know, that's pretty selfish.
Suspicious Partner, finished, was a relatively OK drama for me before he found out about her dad and what not. Things just started to slow down and moved in circles from there. But I still finished it.
Emperor: Ruler of the mask. I actually had a hard time with this. To the point where I almost dropped it. I mean, honestly, I just found the story to be ridiculous. I guess I'm just too used to the more serious historical dramas. But I finished it because it's the first drama Yoo Seung Ho came in after he came back from the army. I needed to see him in action. And of course I had to support my girl Kim So Hyun .
