Its just cdrama things you will ignore it if you watch more of these period dramas , like this they will hv some ridiculous poison which requires some ridiculous things as antidotes, or ridiculous actions and ppl killing aphrodisiacs etc etc plenty of such things
you can create a big list of common things in period dramas to put in ignore logic box and continue watching for entertainment
