I wonder how the ML will be in the second chance love phase because as you rightly mentioned the" opaque and impersonal acting" of him is so convincing that i cant imagine him being lovey dovey at all
Because even before the reveal of him being manipulative and controlling the situations type, his skinship with the FL be it a forhead kiss or lip one all felt like an act
