They seem to want to make it out that LSY is the so called bad guy who killed SCE girlfriend - but that's not true - he defended himself from being attacked... so I don't know why they want it to seem like the bad guy and the good guy meet.... Can we find and punish the REAL bad guy! Let's not sentence a poor soul who just stumbled into a place he shouldn't have been - sure he should have told his dad and gone to the police (but look what the police did - they punished an innocent guy - who's to say they wouldn't of done the same to him? Only thing different is he might have been saved b/c his dad is a prosecutor and has some money... so they might have been able to prove his innocence - while the brothers are poor and no one could help them...) So maybe he should be punished for not coming clean - that he went to visit his friend and ended up being attacked (not knowing why he was being attacked) and he pushed her away and she fell - it's self-defense - he shouldn't be punished to harshly for this.... besides the police said that she died from muliple blows to the head (I never saw that take place - so either the pervert did that when she was fighting him or we are still missing another person...) Either way, I don't think LSY's character should be punished too harshly for his part in this whole mix-up. After all, if his friend had told him he moved out, LSY's character would never have gone to his place and none of this mess would have even of happened, I think his friend needs to take some responsibility in all of this.
I would really like to watch this for Lee Sang Yoon (I'd skip all other annoying people's scenes) but judging by the last episode part I watched - it seems like he at the very end won't get to stay and be with Lee Yoo Ri's character :'( So I don't know if I should invest any time - right now I'm going through YT's episode previews for each episode lol - maybe that will be all I will watch...
One guy comes in and attacks the girl - then runs away after the girl hits him with a hammer, a guy who is going to his friends house a little drunk comes up and sees the other guy running out - then he goes into the house where his friend is supposed to be living and gets hit on the head with a hammer (b/c girl thinks it's the same guy who just ran out) - she continually comes at him with the hammer, so he grabs a book to block her hitting and pushes her away with his foot - she falls on floor and "dies" - he is in shock and runs home - tells his mom what happened - his mom says it was just self defense (which I am in total agreement with!). The girls boyfriend heads over to her place and sees her lying on the floor in blood - he runs out to get help and the police catch him as the perpetrator! In his claim for innocence, his younger brother says he killed her in order to protect his brother from going to prison! - ah! I want all three of these guys to be proven innocent and I want the police to catch the real criminal (the first guy) The cops said she didn't die b/c of manslaughter *accidental killing* by falling on something - but rather she died by multiple blows to the head (that would be b/c of the first guy!) - Such a complicated mess!!! I'm glad LSY's character told his mom what happened - but I really think his mom should have listened to her son and also informed the dad - so they could figure this out together....
Ugh, see that's why you never try and cover up anyone's crime - no matter if it was intentional or not - when you hide it - you ruin the persons good morals and personality and change them into something they would never have been. :'( (judging by the plot I found below) - Whether it be your son, husband/wife, sister, brother...ectra... If you confess - things might change... but who knows when cops can sometimes be super stupid.... :/
Lee Sang-yoon (Kim Woo-Bin) wanted to become a prosecutor like his dad who was admired for his unshakable integrity. But after failing to pass the bar exam several times, he finally passes the bar one day, which is also the day when he kills a woman by accident. He decides to confess his crime but he lets himself be convinced by his mother to keep it a secret and not disappoint his father. The woman he killed was the girlfriend of Joon-ha (Song Chang-Eui). Joon-ha’s brother, who had a criminal record, decides to confess to the crime so that Joon-ha won’t have to go to jail and their mother dies from grief after the judge sentences her son to life in prison. Joon-ha becomes driven to pass the bar exam and it takes him three years to finally pass the bar, giving him a chance to prove his brother’s innocence. After deferring his law trainee program and leaving the country for two years, Sang-yoon returns to Korea and enters the law trainee program where he befriends Joon-ha. He then learns that Joon-ha’s brother is serving a life sentence for a crime that was committed by none other than himself. He also finds out that Joon-ha’s mother died from grief that her son was sentenced to prison. When Shin Young-joo (Kim Yu-Mi) finds evidence that tacks the murder on Sang-yoon, he dangles the prospects of marrying her to manipulate her. Joon-ha reopens the murder case of his late girlfriend when he gets furious from the revelation that Woo-bin could be the killer.
This was a relatively good drama, with a few boring aspects. About one woman trying to find the truth about a patients "accident" with the help of one Hot detective ^^ The investigation part of this drama intrigued me the most.
Kang Shin Woo (Lee Sang Yoon) was my favorite part of this show (and honesty the whole reason I checked in on it in the first place) He plays one seriously hot detective ^_^ I loved it when he started getting more screen time (around episode 4-the end). Jin Seo (Kim Hye Soo) is a wife struggling with her husbands straying ways, her friends jealousy and threats from another. When her patient dies, she can't pull herself away from trying to find out why.
I won't mention other cast members b/c these two were the only reason I kept watching!
Music: Loved it - especially Bobby Kim's song <3 and Ryeowook's song ^_^ They were beautiful!
I probably won't re-watch this - but I might peek back in and watch a few scenes with Lee Sang Yoon ^^
I can't give it more than a 6.5 b/c the ending didn't exactly go the way I wanted it to... but I really liked one scene close the the very end <3 LSY ^_^
It was a pretty good drama with a few boring aspects - that was going in a good direction, until the very end where it disappointed me :'( WHY? Amazing two songs from the ost - Bobby Kim's song and Ryeowook's song <3
Why the heck would she choose to stay with her loser husband?!! >_< That really ticked me off - he had more than enough chances to make things right - but he continually chose the wrong ones - 1. had an affair with a younger lady. 2. took his friends (female 2nd lead) side over his wife's a hundred time over again and again. Believed her words over his own wife's! Even when his son was kidnapped!!! He ignored his wife's call when she said she was in an accident with the excuse that he was "busy" EXCUSE ME! Your WIFE just said she was in an ACCIDENT and that's all you have to say?!!!!!! 3. You DID finally have an actual affair (sex) with that "friend" of yours and yet you brush that off as nothing?!!! 4. You suspect your wife of having an affair b/c of a couple of pictures your "friend" showed you and the words your wife spoke to her to make her mad?! REALLY?!!! >_< He LIES and LIES and LIES over and over again and yet she takes him back after all that?!!!!! I thought when she FINALLY told him that she wants to get a divorce that she really was going to get one - did she change her mind b/c that "friend"'s dying words were "don't hate him too much" <is that really what changed her mind?!
I for one would NOT have taken him back - I would have divorced his sorry ass a long time ago! and moved on with that hot detective! btw, that kiss at the end with him and her was LOVELY!!! But I still wanted her to go with him! I'm upset that she chose who she chose....
I will definitely be watching Oh My Venus ^_^ I'm planning on watching Reply 1988 & Imaginary Cat. I might check out Madame Antoine & Riders Catch Tomorrow - not too sure if I will be checking in on the two longer ones... I have a lot of dramas on my plate right now and those two aren't the most intriguing title wise, plot wise or cast wise for me lol
So apparently Darksmurfsub is now charging money for the subs :'( So I can't download subs from them anymore unless I pay... sucks... has anyone paid them? and does it make you pay for each subtitle or once you pay they stop asking for money?... This is the only site I found that even has subs available for this drama... I would be nice if someone had them uploaded to subscene...
He will forever be Do Jin from Kingdom of the Winds to me ^^ Loved his bromance in that drama with Song Il Guk - I am also liking him on Goddess of Fire Jung Yi ^^
Korea: Ji Chang Wook and (I can't remember but she was listed right above Kim So Yeon)...
Taiwan: Vanness Wu and Ella Chen
Japan: Matsumoto Jun - didn't vote on girl
other countries - I don't have the qualifications to vote b/c I have not really seen any of their dramas to have an accurate judgement.
