The drama is about the life of Dae Jo Yeong and his quest to recapture the old Goguryeo and create an empire that embraces all people from all origins (Baekjae, Goguryeo, Khitan, Silla, Mohe, Turks ectra...). It's about the founding of the Kingdom of Balhae. And all the heroes that were involved in its rising: Dae Jungsang, Dae Jo Yeong, Gulsabiwu and countless others. This drama does not lay heavily on facts (just take a look at Wikipedia and you'll know lol) - many of the characters life, death and even existence is quite fictional - but it made for a great story. One, the two main females don't even exist in reality :P Some sites say that the two rivals in this drama, Jo Yeong & Kaigu (Hae Gu) vie for the love of the two leading women - but that's simply not true. There will be two romances for Jo Yeong (one that never should have been and one that was always right) but as for the other guy, he only looked at one woman.
Cast/Characters: My all time favorite character was played by Choi Chul Ho as Gulsabiwu (one of Jo Yeong's sworn brothers). I adored him so much, out of all the characters in this drama I would marry him ^_^ His character was very loyal and faithful - a true friend/brother. He had an unending passion and determination to not let the enemy defeat him and when teamed up with Jo Yeong and Sudol he was unstoppable ^^ (I'm also a fan of this actor and I love it when I get to see him as a good guy so my heart can freely go "gaga" over him lol).
Dae Jo Yeong played by Choi Soo Jong - he is the reason I decided to watch this drama, I've been a fan of CSJ since I first watched him in 'Into the Flames' (his latest drama and I started backtracking all his dramas since then). I always like him in leader type roles as he plays them exceptionally well (Dae Jo Yeong, The Great Kings Dream, Into the Flames, Comrades, President, and more...). I always admire his characters and would follow his leadership without a doubt. His character in this drama was exactly like that: one you can trust and depend upon. His character is full of love and passion for his people. He pursued his dream of recapturing the old Goguryeo not for his own selfish desires but b/c it was not only his dream but his peoples dream. He once quoted: "One man's dream may end a dream, but a dream that we dream together always comes true." He was a man full of love, honor, and selflessness.
Kaigu played by Jeong Bo Seok was a man full of envy, hatred, greed and a thirst for revenge. His "dream" was out of selfish motivation. He only loved one woman but b/c of that also spurred him to hate Jo Yeong even more, as he felt what was his was taken. I kind of got tired of his "I'm angry" face as it felt extremely forced and uncomfortable.
Suk Yeong played by Hong Soo Hyun was the girl I liked in this drama and the one who I believed was always right for our lead character. She had a selfless heart, full of love and compassion just like our lead. They were very well matched. And I wish our lead had only had eyes for her for the entire drama but whatever... lol. She reminded me of Seo Ji Hye's character from 'Kim Soo Ro' b/c of her love that went unnoticed for awhile b/c his eyes were directed elsewhere - but eventually they look to the right one.
Chulin played by Park Ye Jin, I did not like her at all. I wish she would have stayed where she belonged b/c it was a love that I personally believed was very wrong - you cannot be lovers with someone that you are helping to destroy. Opposite sides cannot be together, it can only end badly and you could even make things worse. I couldn't believe that our lead guy didn't realize that. She would have been a decent character on her own but b/c the writers made her this way made me unable to ever like her.
Geom played by Jung Tae Woo (an actor I've started to really like since I first saw him in 'Comrades') comes on in the latter part of the drama (I think around the 80ish episodes) was a great addition to the casting, I really liked his character, even though you end up feeling so bad for him b/c of how torn he is and you can literally see it eating him up. But your heart will surly move for him. A great actor who really deserves lead roles! He always seems to be stuck doing "Supporting or guest roles" and I think that is just not fair to this actor who is so talented (I mean unless it's his choice but I don't think that's so).
And there were tons of other characters that shined but I obviously can't describe them all lol but I'll list there names: Mimosa, Geumlan, Dae Jungsang, Keum Mo Jang, Dae Dan, Yang Man Chun, & King Bojang. Heuk Sudol was a great friend but I wasn't too keen on him b/c outside of his friendship he was kind of a numbskull and drank too much and when he bickered or raised his voice I got annoyed. But I enjoyed the bromance between him and Gulsabiwu & Jo Yeong.
Music: Throughout the entire drama it's just instrumental music. The lyric songs came on during the credits (but who sits and watches those unless it's airing?) so the first time an actual song played was in episode 128 (the ending) by Park Hyo Shin (and you'll cry). And then a little later another song is played a couple of times but more as background music. Songs: Park Hyo Shin 'Ae Sang/Sorrow' (it was played in a very appropriate scene). L. Woo & Sung Ho 'Before the Break Up' (I actually don't remember where this was played in the drama) and Joo Byung Sun 'Mothers Land'.
Also you may have to bear with the first 7 episodes as it's all about the older cast - I was quite bored during those episodes b/c they didn't have anyone I wanted to look at lol - the main cast doesn't appear until episode 8. Also if your like me you might hate the first romance. I almost dropped this drama during the span of episodes 40-50. After that I had no desire to drop it though - so if you reach that point just press through (skip watch if you must) and it will get much better ^_^ I personally skipped most scenes about the Empress of Tang and Xui Rengui (since it was things I pretty much already knew about anyways).

A lot of people seemed to be put off by the "teacher/student" thing but I seriously don't see the big deal with it. It's not like anything inappropriate ever happened when they were "teacher & student". They hung out more often then a "teacher/student" generally would (if it were under NORMAL circumstances) but this drama wasn't a "normal situation" drama - the teacher LIVED at her grandma's place! So Obviously they would grow closer and spend more time together - but even then NOTHING inappropriate happened EVER. (of course there were underlying feelings, but none "displayed" until one incident happens and then ... they meet again). Plus I thought KRW and PSH had really good chemistry <3
Story: A girl who comes from heartache has built a wall around her heart and acts out - she then meets her teacher/mentor who leads her to a different way of life. They all meet as doctors again later and we see several different patients come in and get treated. (I actually liked the patients stories more than the "doctoring" part lol) - It's a medical drama but I think it was a slightly more loosely based one where they didn't necessarily go that deep into the medical aspects of it all (so actual doctors might find it a tad unrealistic) but if you ignore that and just watch it for what it is - basically a love story - then you might enjoy it like I did.
Now I however do Not think this drama should have lasted for 20 episodes - it would have been much better at 16 (or even just 18) - 20 was too much so I can understand people who think it's boring or they say they have lost "interest" it's not one of those dramas where you will be sitting on the edge of your seat or where your mind will be at work the entire time - No. It' just a drama to sit down and watch in relaxation. - At least that's how it was for me. -
Cast: My favorite characters are Ji Hong played by Kim Rae Won <3 (perfect kind of guy in my eyes) ^^ Pi Yeong Gook played by Baek Sung Hyun ^_^ (my side romance LOVE) and Seo Woo played by Lee Sung Kyung (the second lead girl that many loved to hate but I loved to understand and like & I totally shipped her with Yeong Gook <3 ). So to get nitty gritty here... Ji Hong is a very playful and fun loving teacher/doctor who is almost always smiling and being cute (and KRW fits this role so well!), You'd have a hard time not falling for this witty and charming man ;) Pi Yeong Gook is the sweet and kind best buddy a girl could ever wish to have that also secretly likes his friend. ^_^ I adored him and so wish he had more screen time!!! Seo Woo was a misunderstood girl who acted bitter and mean on the outside but who was really wounded on the inside - all she needed was some tender loving care people! I liked her and like PYG I wish she had more screen time!!! (they could have shared the screen time between PSH & KRW with PYG & SW! It would have been better too I think if they did that. I didn't like the second lead guy played by Yoon Kyun Sang at all until half way through when my opinion changed a little b/c he wasn't so clingy and mean like he was earlier. I LOVED his uncle though <3 Gosh that man was adorable! ^_^
Most memorable and enjoyable guest appearances: Ji Soo, Lee Sang Yeob, Nam Goong Min, & Han Hye Jin. Their stories were all really good as were their performances <3 (a lot of people were complaining about not seeing Ji Soo all the time - but his role was just a "guest" role it wasn't a supporting role. I do wish they would have a shown a little more after he was in the hospital but... I enjoyed his time that he was on here.)
Music: I liked it. and they fit well with the drama's atmosphere.
Re-watch value??? humm... Idk, I might b/c of Kim Rae Won and Baek Sung Hyun - but it might be a skip watcher lol
I'm giving it a rating of 8 simply b/c I did enjoy it - but it wasn't the best drama by far and it shouldn't have had so many episodes (especially when BM was cut and this wasn't... but... anyways that is again just my opinion.)

The story is about the love and lives of two women from different classes.
Cast: Young Min - At first I didn't really think much of him other than he was a playboy and a scallywag of sorts - at one point however I started to find a few things cute about him and his character - the first time was in a karaoke bar - they way he looked at that girl ^_^ I guess that's where I started to grow a certain fondness of his character at. Several episodes later I started seeing some real potential in him (even though he was still a scallywag and a playboy - he at the same time seemed to have some sort of innocence to him) ^^ and after episode 68 or so I got really really attached to him and his character - His character then became everything to me in this drama and I was eager to watch his development and story unfold ^_^ His character never proved me wrong.
Shin Ae - the housemaids daughter, she's had/has issues with the daughter of the house Min Ah since they were in middle school - so they are friendemies so to speak. Shin Ae doesn't like her and Min Ah looks down on her (even though inside she's jealous). Shin Ae develops a crush on Min Ah's boyfriend (before she knew he was Min Ah's bf) so we see her wavering in her feelings for her crush. At first I too was not sure if I shipped her with him or not... but after some episodes and things happening I started to ship her with Young Min instead lol. Shin Ae is a very strong and resilient person but she's also soft and gets hurt. I wish she wouldn't "run away" from things as often as she did but she did always manage to get back up fast.
Min Ah - she has been in a long time relationship with Jung Min and loves him despite her mothers opposition. Things happen and life goes on but her love for him never stopped. She also became friends with Shin Ae - they were close enough anyways to care about each others lives and give each other advice. It was a nice development to see.
Jung Min - He was sweet and nice in the beginning but also a bit cold and indifferent. His character was confusing early on - I couldn't figure out if he was wavering in his feelings or not - but time proved that so... in the second half of the drama he was hell bent on revenge - completely blinded by it.
And then we have Shin Ae's mother, brother, and best friend - Her mom was nice but a bit too quick to judge and sometimes wouldn't listen and only spoke (which to be honest was annoying), her brother was a pathetic guy during most of the drama - he matured a little bit later on (but not a lot) - I was however ok with him when he was with Young Min lol - and her best friend was also her brothers girlfriend, she tended to side with her boyfriend over her friend most of the time. :/
Young Min's mother was a really rude and mean woman with hilarious expressions that unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) made you unable to hate her completely b/c no matter the mean and cruel things she'd do to Shin Ae, Jung Min, Young Min and others her facial expressions made it funny and a bit ridiculous. Young Min's father was a kind and respectable man who I really liked ^^ He is how I could see Young Min turning into. Jung Min's mother (Young Min's aunt) was your average mother - neither mean nor nice - she followed the money and whined a bit but was overall a decent and somewhat likeable character. Min Ah's mother cared about her business first and foremost which ends up hurting her daughter time and time again - she cares about her daughter but always put her business first.
Side characters: Hwa Young (a woman who interfered in more than one life), Baek Ki Ha (Hwa Young's Man) and Baek's mother (an evil woman).
Music: I only recall one song but I really liked it (it was the ending song).
Re-watch value: I think it's worth re-watching (at least I might re-watch Shin Ae and Young Min's scenes again).

Story: It starts off in 1943 with the younger cast, shows the background of how things began - the friendship that was shown in the beginning was so good and it continues throughout the entire show to the end where it's 1973 - lot's of bromance with a little romance thrown in - but the basis of this story was about a Steel Manufacturing Plant being built (which I believe is supposed to represent POSCO).
Cast: Park Tae Hyung the real star of the show - I loved his character, he was loyal, trustworthy and smart - he could win anyone over and it was shown in how he got his team. I loved the entire cast - whether good or bad they played their roles exceptionally well. I found out while watching this drama that this was actually Lee Ki Chan (Ahn Seung Joo) (ballad singer)'s official acting debut - let me say - for this being his acting debut he acted like a PRO - no joke - he never looked awkward.
Music: I loved it - every song - but the main one I remember is by Lee Ki Chan ;)
Re-watch Value: 10 - I would love to re-watch this drama with subs - it's great without but I would love to understand some of the dialog that went on ;)
Have you ever watched a drama where by the end you were shedding tears of happiness? well this drama did that to me - they showed flashbacks of the show and some of the real events captured on old film and I was sitting here smiling with tears rolling down my face fast lol
It's a great drama - I'd highly recommend people to watch it!!!!

I loved the Insurance girls (Da Hae) character as well, I could really relate to her feelings for some reason during the whole drama.
Jae Hee got on my nerves a lot - not because she isn't a nice person because she was, but when someone hangs around someone you don't want them to hang around, it can irk you lol.
The lessons this drama taught about how to treat people you sell things to was superb! This drama is going in my masterpieces collection! It was unique and fresh! Romance and Business! Good people and bad people!
The music was superb!
All the actors did an excellent job with the roles they portrayed!
All around this drama gave me a very "warm" feeling while watching each episode, it was very heartwarming.
It definitely connected with me on a personal level - it was very touching.

Story: When an unexpected earthquake hits Seoul and brings disaster everywhere, the doctors and firefighters do everything in their power to save lives. We see cold treatment and rejection from certain doctors who refuse to treat patients who aren't easily fixable, and we see other doctors who do what some call reckless behavior in order to save people. Firefighters who are told to focus on saving people and patients who are searching for someone to help them.
Cast: I loved Kim Young Kwang as Lee Hae Seong in this drama! He was so charismatic and a true doctor who cared about saving people's lives - he didn't look at them as just a number - he looked at them for who they were - a person who has memories and family. He would disobey superiors at his workplace in order to save a life. This made him a enemy of one in particular person. Jung So Min as Jung Ddol Mi a resident doctor from Busan who happens to be in Seoul on the day of the earthquake, she meets Hae Seong and starts working with him and learning what it means to be a true doctor. Their scene's together were always good, intense, sweet, and funny at times. I also liked Ji Na and Woo Jin (Yoon Joo Hee & Ha Suk Jin) they were in conflict with one another for most of the drama but you could feel the connection they had and you really wanted it to work out. I also enjoyed the cute "romance" between Lee Seung Yeol & Kim Jung Hwa - so cute^^ Other characters that will remain in my memory: Lee Woo Seong (Song Ji Ho), Choi Il Sub (Kim Sang Ho), Oh Min Ho (Kim Chul Ki) - they all hold a special place :)
Character I hated: Park Gun (Lee Kyeong Yeong) and Dr. Yoo (Go Gyu Pil) >_< I really wanted to strip the first of his title and the second I wanted to remove from any type of doctorate field >_<
Music: Good, but no memorable songs - However! Since Jung Dong Ha sang the ending song - and I liked it (I love all his songs) I will be listening to that one - Going to find it and add it to a CD ^_^
I would re-watch this drama and would definitely recommend it!!! I marathoned it in 2 days! My eyes were glued to the screen <3
"If saving a life is a sin, then all the doctors of this world should take off their gown." - Dr. Lee Hae Seong

Story: Jung Sook & Hyuk Joon's grandparents had arranged for them to be married when they grew up (there is a 10yr age gap between them) - When they find out his grandpa & her mother plan on keeping that arrangement - you can imagine the hilarity it will bring. It's a very fun, quirky, easy, sweet, and romantic drama to watch whenever you feel like it - I fall in love with it over and over again whenever I decide to re-watch it <3
Cast: Jung Sook (Han Ji Hye) she starts off as an 18 year old immature school-girl who had fallen in love with a man she met in passing - she sees him wearing traditional clothing and carrying an old piece of literature and develops a one-sided love on him - she later becomes his wife & her character growth and maturing start to show. Hyuk Joon (Lee Dong Gun) a 28 year old Prosecutor and firstborn son of a clan (people who follow the old traditions) he decides to marry Jung Sook and we slowly start seeing him falling in love with her^^ Prosecutor Suh (Hyuk Joon's friend and co-worker) he always cracks me up with his laughter ;D He was a great supporting character ;) Ga Young (Lee Da Hae) she plays the ex who wants him back - she's hateful at first but later turns out to be rather funny with her scheming ways :p (when she is fighting with Hyuk Joon's sister) it's quite entertaining ;) Grandpa - I loved him all the way until the end... All of Jung Sook's friends are entertaining^^
Music: Some of the funniest music I've heard in drama-land and a few American songs that I love like: Kiss Me Darling By Blink and Stupid Cupid by Mandy Moore <3
Re-watch Value: 10 - I just finished it for the 3rd time and enjoyed it just as much as if I had watched it for the first time ;D

Story: 3 brothers who don't know they are brothers b/c they were separated a long time ago meet again by fate and go through countless things before finding out they are all related - is the basis of this plot-line.
Cast: Kim Jaejoong as Yeong Dal/Dong Cheol - the main of the main cast basically lol - he was my favorite character and the reason I started this drama - his character development was the biggest and most impactful during this drama - I loved his story and all the things he got intertwined with along the way - plus his romance was really sweet and nice to see. Lee Bum Soo as Dong Soo - a detective with a temper - through a turn of events finds certain things out and seeks revenge with the help of Yeong Dal. Siwan as Yang Ha - the little jerk of the show basically - raised by a dirty rich guy with no feelings - you could say he has some psychological issues....Jung Hee the girl Yeong Dal loves and the girl that Yang Ha wants - who does she like and how the love story begins - you'll have to see for yourself - I loved her faithful character :) Shin Hye - probably the smartest out of everyone on this drama - she had a habit of figuring things out before others did.
Music: Extraordinary - I loved it to pieces especially Kim Jaejoong's 2 OST songs (I play them all the time)
Re-watch Value: 10/10 I will most definitely re-watch this drama again - I loved it as much as I loved East of Eden <3
Fav. Quotes at the end: "Death is waiting at the end of greed." "If you want to escape life's darkest tunnel, try to love somebody, because great fortune may be awaiting for you." - Yeong Dal/Dong Cheol.

Story: About a woman who runs a small restaurant right outside of the school her son used to attend, she feeds the kids and helps them in their personal lives, she meets the school's math teacher Jinwoo and they start becoming friends and eventually fall in love. His son is troubled. Then we have Jinwoo's parents and his brother and sister-in-laws stories which made me feel at times like I was watching 2 different dramas in one lol - I'd get invested in one story and forget the others existed. lol.
Cast: Jung Deok-In was a pretty bad-ass ahjumma - she reminded me a lot of Kim Hee Sun's character in Angry Mom, what with her fighting skills and such and her protective spirit of the school kids. She runs a restaurant and gets harsh treatment from her lousy excuse for a "husband", she's an orphan and only knows her spouses family until Jinwoo comes along and loves her in a beautiful sweet way <3 Jinwoo is the son of a chaebol who doesn't want the family business - he's the youngest and wants to be a teacher, he is also widowed and has 1 son that disses him all the time :'( Jinwoo also suffers from a secret that he has kept that involved his older brother. (He's my favorite character). Then we have Hongran who I absolutely loved! She was a bit stupid, rude, and made me laugh like crazy lol - I loved her wacky character! She also acts the way she does b/c of everything she knows about her "sister-in-law" and even her own husband (who was a real jerk btw). Eunsoo who I nicknamed "the evil sea witch" I hated her guts - such a deceptive, manipulative evil wench >_< I wanted to claw at her so many times! Everyone but Hongran was blind to her real nature - that is until she reveals it little by little. Kyungchul (Deok-In's spouse) was a real loser! The things he said to Deok-In made me furious! He was another character I hated a LOT. *I didn't feel sorry for him in the least* I also loved our younger cast, the school kids, Yoonsuh (who at first you kind of hate b/c of how he acts and treats kids, the ahjumma and even his own dad & then you find out one more thing to dislike about him but eventually you start to care for him and see all that bottled up hurt and anger that he had kept buried) and in the end you just love him <3 Hyunseo & Nurse Park were cute but awkward - I did ship them though ^^ Kyungtae (Ji Il Joo) *remember him as Healer's daddy?* I was happy to see him here! He's SO handsome ^_^ although he was pretty immature in this drama - especially toward his girlfriend who he chases away *stupid boy* lol
Music: I loved 2 songs in-particular: "You Like Me" by Hwayobi, & "Have You Ever Loved" by Han Kyung Soo. Other songs I liked: "Game Set" by DIA, and "The Darkness the Starlight" by Kim Wan Je
I would re-watch this drama (I re-watch most dramas at some point) and I do recommend it - to anyone who likes romance, makjang or melodramas and or family dramas with a bit of action lol

I love the painful story between the brothers - it really broke my heart - I felt for all the characters - the older brother, the younger brother and the Jongbeom (Dokgu from Inspiring Generation) and that other kid from school - people get hurt in the course of life and the steps they take after the hurt is what really counts - do they make bad choices or good ones - can they change?...
Re-watch Value: I will more than likely re-watch this at some point.
I definitely recommend people to watch this - it's very well done and very moving. It really pulls your emotions in right away - but prepare a tissue or two for the end.

Story: very well written.
Cast: they all played their characters well - especially the male lead
Music: besides suspense music I didn't remember anything...
be forewarned - Do NOT watch this at Night - if you get scared easily like me - and keep the lights on! lol - I wasn't the only one by the comments I've seen on YT -
Re-watch value: I won't rewatch it - why? because the mystery/suspense is gone now that I've seen it.

Cast: Yook Sung Jae as Officer Park Woo Jae was my personal favorite character - he was so eager, determined, nice, and wouldn't let go of his "detective instincts" ^^ He'd investigate things other detectives were brushing off with the help of his sunbae officer Han Yeong Sa whom I also really liked - two great officers/unofficial-detectives from a rural area who shined the most! Moon Geun Young as Han So Yoon was great in her role as the new teacher trying to figure out what brought her to Achiara. (not everyone likes her acting, but I do, I couldn't imagine another actress playing her role). Ohn Joo Wan was my second favorite character - I loved every scene of his. Choi Jae Woong as "the young agashi" was the most confusing and perplexing characters in this drama! Great acting! Park Eun Seok as Nam Gun Woo "the art teacher" another complex role - definitely going to keep my eye on this actor!
Every actor did such a splendid job with their character - and I can't say much or I will unveil the mystery!
Music: this is the first time I actually enjoyed the instrumental OST this much - it fit perfectly and still remains in my memory - usually instrumentals don't leave a lasting impression for me but this one did.
I would definitely re-watch this drama again! Such a good drama! I'd recommend it to mystery lovers!

Drama Special Series Season 2: Ordinary Love

Overall I did enjoy this drama, it was short enough to keep me watching and the ending even though it wasn't what I wanted, it wasn't terrible and at the last minute it left me with a feeling of "hope".....
I wouldn't watch it again b/c it's not the type of show I'd want to re-watch but I definitely would say watch this drama if you've never seen it before.
Cast: Yun Woo Jin was my favorite character (he was also the reason I decided to watch this drama special). His acting was excellent :D
It was my first time seeing the actress but she played her role really well too.
Music: nothing special

The story is slightly different than what the "description" says - he wasn't really "climbing to the top", basically he deception stemmed from anger, and as you'd find out watching the drama, he never planned to hang on to his lies forever.
Cast: Jong Soo (Shin Dong Wook) was a kindhearted, sincere and loveable guy - I loved his character and I loved every moment of him with Jeong Won (Han Ji Hye) - the girl he was in love with <3
There were other characters I didn't like in the drama - mainly because of their "clinginess" but they came through in the end and I ended up liking them, you know how that goes...
Music: was beautiful - I especially remember 2 songs in particular (I don't know what they are called, but one was sung by a female and the other one by a male with the verse that says "don't let me go" in it).
Re-watch Value: I will surely be re-watching this drama in the future.
This drama gave me the same "warm" feeling that 'Save the Last Dance for Me" did.
If you like romantic drama's with a hint of revenge and deception in it - then I'd definitely recommend you watch this drama ;)

Story: About a mother who adopts a child who was abandoned and as she helps him pursue his dream of being an actor, she has to try and protect him from his selfish birth parents. And the man who is completely devoted to both her and her child.
Cast: My favorite thing was definitely the love shown by our male lead Gun Woo (Son Seung Won). *The perfect kind of man* This drama was even better because of him ;) The unconditional love, friendship, companionship and fathership he displayed in this drama should be every woman's dream for a man. This drama was really good to begin with but he made it even a hundred times better just b/c he was there. A man full of loyalty, devotion, steadfastness, honor, love, backbone, direction, and sacrifice. Completely self-less in all his actions. He showed true love and care for those around him. (I'm excited to see him in another Main lead role soon).
Eun Hee goes through so much in this drama, you'll feel terrible for her. She's a really nice sweet girl who loves her adoptive son as much as any mother would love their own biological child. She shows the meaning of true parenthood. Blood related or not - he was her child. It's a beautiful bond that was both sad and endearing. In the former half of the drama she struggles with her inferiority complex of being an orphan and tends to run away from her happiness. But that all changes short of midway through the drama where she realizes she needs to put her own feet in in order to be with people who make her happy. Basically, she takes charge of her life.
I also loved the bluntness of Myeong Sun and Eun Ah lol - they are quite like me in their way of thinking - I may appear to be more like Eun Hee but my thought process is definitely like the other two lol - My words can be harsh, blunt and to the point but my heart isn't as cruel as my words lol
So Jung was so annoying and irritating early on in the drama (obsessive towards her brother) we find out the reason later, but man it bothered me. Luckily she changes later b/c of circumstances and such and I started to really like her (also the actress gets replaced midway b/c the former one got sick).
Oh and Gwang Soo was so adorable! Kyaa! I loved how he was so attracted to the "charismatic" woman Myeong Sun ^^ He's a charmer and oh so cute! ;) Another actor I will be anticipating in another drama. ^^
The fathers were SO great! and I loved the "friend-in-law" thing they added to it ^_^ They are the exact type of father-in-law's and fathers you'd want to be blessed with. Very loving, very respectable and they walk their talk.
Ha Yoon (the main kid) is still a novice at acting, I could tell especially in a few of his crying scenes but overall he did pretty good. ^^
I cried and laughed a lot during this drama - besides tons of other emotions felt towards other characters.
The main bad lady will drive you nuts with her terrible treatment and "using" of Eun Hee. A woman who refuses to admit her own fault and only sees the fault in others. One who is completely absorbed in her own blood line and uses that to treat others like dirt. She thinks only her family is worthy of being praised but others in her eyes are worth nothing. She's extremely selfish and all of her actions and words prove it. The secondary lead couple will make you hate them early on but sympathize with them in the latter half - it's so weird. One minute you hate them the next you feel for them.
It's really really good, by episode 46 I could not stop watching (luckily I had delayed watching this drama when it was airing from that point on so I could marathon the rest of it) :)
One slight disappointment was you could definitely tell they dropped 2 episodes off in the end :'( I wish they would have left it at 120 episodes instead of making it 118 :/ I could tell this cut by the end of episode 115 - they started to cut the end/beginning scenes and not continue it from there :/ I would have liked those to have been as well paced as the rest but even so it wasn't too bad of a rush - still would have been better to have those last 2 episodes though.

I would definitely re-watch this drama at some point if only for Gun Woo ^^
For daily drama lovers - this is a good one! I recommend it :)
