I can't believe it's over already! I got so attached to all the characters that I'm finding it hard to pull away lol. I decided to watch this after finishing Road No.1 - and I'm glad I did. RN1 would be a story mixed in with the actual events, Comrades tells a story about the people involved in the war - I loved both of these dramas in slightly different ways - One thing they have in common (besides the same war) is the BROMANCE - I love bromance and I always look for it in dramas I watch. This drama will make you so attached to the characters you won't be able to pull yourself away. < It's that good. using someone else's words: *it depicts true brotherhood & friendship.

Story: Comrades shows you what it's like being in a war, what you can go through and experience, whether good or bad. The fear of death, the deaths around you, the friendships built and lost, learning the true meaning of what a soldier is, and never leaving a comrade behind. I like how this drama showed us not only the people from the South but also the ones from the North - how it showed that we are all people, and we all have feelings and people that care about us.

Cast: I fell in love with the cast! <3 Choi Soo Jong (Sergeant Lee) - One of the main reasons I decided to watch this drama, he was my favorite out of all the cast, his character was honorable, trustworthy, loyal, honest, sacrificial and fatherly - He really loved his 'boys' <3 Jung Tae Woo (Cheon Sungil) my 2nd favorite character - he was the soldier who didn't want to be a part of the war, he didn't want to kill and didn't want to be killed - he just wanted to go home and I just wanted to save him. I nicknamed him my puppy <3 He looks a lot like Choi Soo Jong - so much so that they could be father and son! I loved every single one of the comrades: Juyong, Taeksu, Beumwoo,& Il Kwon were my favorites but I also enjoyed the rest. Another actor that made me want to watch this drama was Lee Tae Ran (I became a fan of hers after watching Famous Princesses) - she has a sort of backstory love relationship with Sergeant Lee - I liked her in the beginning even if she was on the "bad side" but towards the end when she re-appeared I got really mad at her character - until a few minutes towards the end when I pitied her. > The cast did a wonderful job pulling the emotions out of me - I cry even just thinking about it lol

Music: Chinguyeo (Friends) by Kim Jang Hoon & the version sung by the cast were my favorites songs <3 I will Come Back by Insooni - I really started to feel this song during the later episodes of the drama. & Requiem for the Unknown Soldiers by Gloomy 30's - all the instrumental songs were perfect for it too.

Re-watch Value: 10/10 I want to re-watch it already - I'd definitely recommend anyone and everyone to watch this drama.

Wow, I didn't expect to finish this drama as fast as I did, I thought it would take me at least a week but it really only took 2 days, It captured my attention by episode 2 and I really sunk into the drama by episode 5. It made me feel a whole range of different emotions.

Story: The description is almost totally way off (it only tells very small details that have nothing to do with the real storyline) - It's about 2 teachers who teach a class full of different types of students - smart students, students who don't care, bullies, and our main ones who have a love/hate type of relationship. The teachers deal with problems that come about in their classroom and try to encourage the students to do well and keep coming to school. It's a really touching school drama. All the different things that happen keeps you totally engaged in the drama. The main thing that kept me totally involved in the storyline was LJS & KWB's relationship - I wanted to know more about what happened between them :)

Cast: Go Nam Soon (Lee Jong Suk) My favorite character <3 both him and Park Heung Soo (Kim Woo Bin) had the best scenes together - I cried, I laughed and loved the bromance & the hurtful scenes between them. Jung In Jae (Jang Nara) She deserves the best teacher award - she was so compassionate and loving towards her students <3 Kang Se Chen (Daniel Choi) a somewhat rude & cold teacher who is touched by In Jae's way of teaching & caring for her students - they team up & run the class together ;) Oh Jung Ho (Kwak Jung Wook) the most troubled student and the one you feel like wanting to care for and mother the most lol - Other "supporting characters" that I enjoyed: Lee Ji Hoon, Lee Yi Kyung, Song Ha Kyung, Lee Kang Joo, Han Young Woo, & Kim Min Ki.

Music: Don't Think You're Alone by Kim Bo Kyung was my absolute favorite song on this drama <3

Re-watch Value: 8/10 I'll definitely re-watch this drama again, It was so good!
I highly recommend anyone who hasn't watched this drama and are a fan of any of the actors/actresses or if you are a school drama fan, then this is one you don't want to miss.

One amazingly Beautiful and Brilliant drama! Every episode was beautiful and thought provoking. By the end all you could say was "WOW, that was one excellent drama." It did not deserve to get cut, I don't know what is wrong with the Korean audience - how could they overlook this GEM? To me it's a masterpiece and it easily went to the top of my top 5 dramas! It has to be the best Medical drama I've seen.

Story: About a doctor who has anti-social disorder, he can't empathize with his patient or people in general. He tries to live his life like a normal person; he wanted his fathers approval that he was "normal". And a rookie traffic cop who investigates a few mysterious deaths that occur in the hospital. The medical cases were all excellent and well portrayed.

Cast: Jang Hyuk as Lee Young Oh did an Excellent job in his portrayal of an emotionless person. A man who struggles to prove he is normal to eventually accepting who he is. His conflicting relationship with his dad was one of the perks of this show. Secrets revealed and betrayals on the way. Lee Young Oh was my absolute favorite character! And his blossoming romance was one of the cutest things! So pure and so sweet ^^ Something I looked forward to every Monday <3
Park So Dam as Gye Jin Sung - she first came off as a bit annoying and slightly stupid *but I forgive her for that b/c she was a rookie traffic cop - not a detective*. She was a bit irrational in the beginning but once she realizes her mistakes she changes and I started to really like her. ^^ She ended up helping Young Oh the most - awakening him you could say. ;)
Heo Joon Ho as Lee Gyun Myung was complex and interesting to watch, his mix of love, guilt, happiness and anger all strewn into one was portrayed very well.
Kim Hyung Kyu as Yang Sung Eun was a great sidekick character! *I love him in every drama he is in* - he's absolutely funny! Made me laugh a lot. And the team of 5 "The Power Rangers" were also a hilarious group! I really enjoyed the side characters in this drama.
My favorite guest/cameo role was played by Seo Jung Yeong ^_^ I really enjoyed his character and story <3
Yoon Hyun Min as Hyun Suk Joo was a doctor who struggled between being a good person and being a good doctor - he was conflicted about what he should choose or how to balance the two out.

Music: "Dirt" by Bernard Park <3 I love this song and it fit so well with this drama!

Re-watch value? 10/10 I actually plan to re-watch this drama right away lol - It's that good!
I HIGHLY recommend this drama to anyone who likes thought provoking things, medical dramas, complex characters and dramas that make you THINK. It's a truly BEAUTIFUL drama that you don't want to miss! I think this is the only drama I have seen that I really wish was Longer - 16 episodes would have been absolutely PERFECT, but it cut short unfairly b/c of poor ratings in Korea. :'(

This movie was so sad! I went into this without knowing much (even though I did read the synopsis before hand, I didn't understand what it meant b/c I didn't know the terminology) and it captivated me right away - I'm glad I decided to watch this - it's worth all the tears believe me.

All the actors did so well in their roles, I didn't see them as actors I saw them as the people they were portraying, the emotions each character brought out got right to your heart and grabbed a hold of it. I became so invested in their story I couldn't pull away. The brothers were so sad - but I have to say I pitied the "Hyung" (Sang Hyun) more b/c his fate was (to me) worse than his younger brothers. This movie really makes you think and opens your eyes. "Some think they are monsters..." <that phrase got to me every time :'( and once scene made me so upset with people and how harsh and mean they can be.

The synopsis is a bit misleading as it leads you to believe this is a "love-story" but it's not, that is hardly indicated in this movie, it's much more about the brothers and their feelings, thoughts and way they have to live. Their father and mother. and wanting to let the world know through a book.

It does start off as almost like a fairy-tale but then starts to go in a different direction once the kids are born - it's almost as if the parents were in heaven and were then dragged to hell - it's really sad :'( But in the end the kids had it the worse - you can't help but have sympathy for them. My heart went out to them - especially to Sang Hyun :'(

Music was painfully beautiful - I loved it sung by all three - Sang Hyun (young) the mother and Sang Hyung (older). "The Peach Tree" song. I wish they released the 3 separate vocals for it but I only managed to find the one sung by Jo Seung Woo...

I would re-watch this even if I did feel like I cried my eyes out in the end - it was a very good movie. and I highly recommend it! But be prepared when you do and have a box of tissues nearby! :'

I thought this movie was BRILLIANT!!! I wasn't expecting to be so enthralled by it when I started it - but within the first few minutes I was already glued to the screen lol - I guess it's a "predictable" story-line but that didn't bother me at all and I enjoyed it immensely!

I had so much fun watching this trio pull trick after trick - they were amazing! Kim Woo Bin was as sexy as ever in this movie <3 *I love it when guys have their hair silky smooth ^^ The acting by everyone in this was outstanding! I didn't see a single flaw. When you watch movies like these where it's about the so called "bad" people and you find yourself rooting for them - it tends to make you question your morals lol but I couldn't help but not root for them - especially since there was a pretty decent reason behind *part* of it lol

Music was good - Mainly remember the background music instrumentals and this song: "I'll Give You My Life" by Yoo Seung Woo (I've heard this song before - so I remembered it more clearly). The other song: "Can't Stop Me" was good but not as memorable lol :P Anyways the music fit the movie ^^

I would definitely re-watch this as I had a lot of fun watching it this time - I know I'll enjoy it again! I'd even try to get someone to watch it with me sometime :P

I enjoyed this drama and I'm glad I watched it ^^ It kept me fully invested for at least the first 67 episodes ^_^ I got a little bored in the last few b/c it was all just jumping from one factual event to another which can get uninteresting when nothing fun happens... I thought the ending was kind of rushed b/c they didn't dig into any of those events they just skimmed them :/ That could have been due to what one user said (they apparently originally planned for 80 episodes and cut it to 70 - but I don't know if I could have watched Beopmin for that long lol *I didn't like his character*). I would have rather had them give us written subbed credits telling of when everything else takes place instead (like 'fact based' movies do).

Story: This is about the life, or more accurately, dream of King Muyeol (Kim Chun Chu) of achieving the cause of unifying the Three Kingdoms of Silla, Baekje & Gorguryeo - so they can stand stronger and be more able to fight off any enemies and live in peace. Without being unified the Three Kingdoms were constantly at war with one another and people lives were constantly in danger of another "country"'s war. It was a dream that started when he was a teenager & this drama shows us from that point all the way to the fulfillment of his dream. He made the pact with his friend Yushin and they swore together that they would dedicate their entire lives to achieve this goal - whether or not they lived to see it fulfilled - they always said "Even if we should die before we get to see it, our kids and their kids will unify the Three Kingdoms." This drama takes us through all the events in history from that moment forward.

Cast: Chun Chu (Choi Soo Jong) He was my favorite character of all the characters in this drama, his insight and wisdom to look far into the future and into peoples hearts was like no other <3 I had high respect for this man and never doubted his reasons or actions b/c I knew all he wanted was unification & nothing could stand in the way of his great dream! He goes through all sorts of trials in this drama (whether they are fact or fiction is purely up to the watcher to decide lol - I believe it is a mix of both). His legacy to me will remain forever! *Those of you that have watched QSD - QSD's version of Chun Chu is completely fictional - whereas here it is much more based on Fact. I didn't like Chun Chu in QSD but I love him here <3
Kim Yushin (Kim Yoo Suk) - I liked him better in this drama then I did in QSD as well ;) Both the young character played by (Noh Young Hak) and his adult version ^^ Both actors did an excellent job in portraying the friendship between him and Chunchu & all of the trials and lost friendships in the drama. He was very stubborn, strong willed and had an even stronger belief and faith in Chun Chu and their cause :) There were a few times in the latter half of the drama where I got a little irritated at his actions but overall I liked him.
Bidam (Choi Chul Ho) - I personally like the "fictional" version of Bidam portrayed in QSD over the factual based character here - but Bidam was portrayed brilliantly in both versions of fiction and non-fiction ;) I fell in love with Bidam from QSD whereas the Bidam in this drama was your typical villain - I enjoyed his performance none the less and I was glad they chose CCH to play him in this drama as he was perfect for the role. His "evil laughter" got a little old in the latter half however. I couldn't hate him in the end b/c he did have spirit :)
Deokman/Seonduk (Park Joo Mi // Hong Eun Hee) was great when she was here, I enjoyed watching all of her scenes ^^ The actress got replaced in episode 19 b/c of PJM's car accident :( But both actresses did a good job.
And of course there are several other characters like Queen Seungman, Queen Sado & thier Henchman (Yushin's grandfather) - (who I hated & couldn't wait to see eliminated) lol I was glad when King Jinpyeong's part came to an end - just like in QSD he was such a pathetic ruler -_- and then there is the the Crazy - literally crazy - character in the drama - Gukban - he was such a disgrace! & then comes Yeonhwa - another character that manipulated a guys mind for "revenge" that I thought was really stupid b/d her revenge had no justification - why would you even want to take revenge for a person like that? I didn't like her at all.
And then we have Chunchu's kids: Beopmin & Inmun - as well as Yushin's son Samkwang. I really really liked Inmun - he resembled his father so much (or so I thought) the last episode ended up ruining him for me *check my spoiler if you like* but overall I really liked him and I liked the actor that played him. I never warmed up to Beopmin (except for when he was a child) the Beopmin as an adult I could never have respect for - he was rash and only saw what was right in front of his face -_- I liked Yushin's son Samkwang though ^_^ Such a cutie and a great son & brother :)

Music - There is only 2 songs in the entire drama (actual lyrical songs) 1 is: 'Heart Road' by Jessica (Girls Gen) and then there is an ending song at the end of a couple episodes - but I have no idea who it is by... as the only "ost" I could find was Jessica's....

Rewatch: Maybe in the far far future (I don't re-watch many dramas these days lol)

First off, I decided to watch this drama for Ahn Jae Wook ^^ and I'm glad I did - I watched it raw (MBC Classic has it up on YT) It was a great drama (not to be missed). It starts good and ends good! I never got bored while watching it ^_^

Ahn Jae Wook has great chemistry with Hwang Shin Hye ^^ I loved them together from the first episode all the way to the last :D Kim Suk-u (AJW) is a regular joe working at a technical office where he meets Jong Hee (HSH) who happens to be his best friends older sister ;) From there we see their relationship take off like the descriptions says - they fall in love, get married and go through obstacles/challenges in their married life - but can they overcome these hardships? Can their love see them through? Will they be pulled away? I loved how cute this couple was ^-^ and they were quite funny at times too (I still remember that one episodes ending! rofl! XD) I loved how Suk-u would call Jong-hee "Jong!" <super adorable! Jong Hee's brother and her best friend were also great in their roles :)

Music: Good but not captivating - Only one song really sticks with me (and I can't find it nor can I name it b/c I don't know the title) It's got a good beat and the singer bascially sings in a baritone voice "ba di ba da boom, ba ba daddi do, ba da da da doo..." lol - I'd love to find this, it really reminded me of that same type of song from 'Home Alone' lol - super fun to sing with ^^

I would re-watch this - why? b/c the leads were extremely cute! p.s the synopsis is slightly misleading.
When you finish, I'd recommend you watch the NG below - it's funny! AJW laughs a lot lol

When I think of the word 'Spy' I think action, secrets, chasing and thrilling things - but this is almost the polar opposite. (the best episodes were the last 4) The first half of this drama is really really boring - It picks up a little when JJ finds out things. (I only kept watching for Jaejoong - I really hope when he comes back from the military he picks a better drama like his previous role in Triangle). I do know one thing, I will never join the NIS or CIA - they always try to backstab you.
I did not enjoy the 'romance' aspect, albeit how little of it in here their was - there was NO chemistry between them at all. The mom's acting was ok, but I found it a little fake or stiff at times. The bad guy's acting was Top-notch excellent (he's a great actor). Jaejoong's acting was good too - it's just the role he played that was uninteresting. And it's really hard to believe all these 'bad guys' would chase after a hard-drive as hard as they did just for money - I know money moves the world but... I just feel like it needed something more powerful or dirty to it in order for me to find it more believable.

Music - I loved Mamamoo 'My Everything' song. and Gummy's 'For Spy' was ok along with a couple other 'ok' songs - but I seriously really really hated 'the key to her heart' song - it grated on my nerves - I hate the way the singer sings - he'd ruin the scenes for me by singing.

I won't rewatch this. & I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you like Jaejoong then his past works are much much better.

This review may be a bit long....lol

I really enjoyed this drama, it seemed like something new happened every 10 episodes.
There were lots of real-life situations and problems, lots of struggles and obstacles along the road to understanding and acceptance.
The story was paced very well, and every episode was well written, the characters could either fill you with warmth & happiness or irritation and disbelief at what they say. Lots of emotion for every character, but overall it was very heartwarming and nice to watch, i'm glad I was finally able to see this drama.

Cast: Hyeonsu (Lee Sang Woo) - never disapoints me with any of his characters on dramas - every drama i have seen this actor in (even if i didn't favor the drama overall) his characters are always "my type" lol ^^
His character was loveable and un-bending - he was loyal and trust-worthy - I loved him <3
Suin (Jang Shin Young) - this was the first drama i had seen her in - she took some getting used to in the first few episodes but i gradually warmed up to her and ended up loving her early on - she had a horrible hairstyle in the first 19 episodes that really made the viewer focus in on her nose and lips but by episodes 20-22 her hairstyle changes and she looks really pretty ;) she was a pretty good actress - there were a few times i could tell she was "acting" but overall she was good. Her character was strong, sweet, brave and i liked her alot.
Juho (Choi Minhwan) - I believe he was my second if not tied with the first place actor in this drama - I always looked forward to his scenes - they were always cute and sweet - he was a really great brother and lover ;) Loved his scenes at school with Shinae.
Minsu (Shim Hyung Tak) - he makes you feel lots of things...(i believe he is the comedy part of this drama), i laughed so many times at the scenes of him and his wife lol - he was cute at times and i was in disbelief at times lol....
Jisu (Park Hyewon) & Hiro (Ryohei Otani) - you can tell they are inexperienced actors - but i still enjoyed every scene of them - they were good at acting at times and at times you could "see" the actor lol
Other characters: Hyeonsu's parents - i was mad most of the time at Hyeonsu's mom but she finally accepts things in the end... Hyeonsu's aunt - was a rude person who said whatever was on her mind - which really irritated me most of the time but she comes around towards the very end too and i couldn't hate her...Hyeongtae (a co-worker of Hyeonsu and Suin) he reminded me alot of yoon shi yoon's character on Flower Boy next Door...Sumi (Kim Yoo Ri) - she was a brat in the begining but she was also silly and cute :) ....the only characters i really hated were Chowon (ep.5-38) and Seongtae (Suin's ex.)

Music: I LOVED the theme song!!! <3 It makes me happy ^^ I just wish i knew who sings it and what it is called.... & there is a ballad song i know i know from another drama...(it plays in a few scenes and one is on ep.101 at the end.....

This drama made me feel like i should watch documentaries at some point lol (it was Hyeonsu's job)

Re-watch value: 7.5 - reason it's long - but i still really liked it so i may watch again.

Issues portrayed on this drama: Single Moms, Foreingers working, tangled family history, abuse, prejudices....

Well this drama took me for a ride the past 4 days....
for me the first 10 episodes were good but slow paced, I felt bored a couple of times (not enough to not keep watching) but by episode 11 I was glued to the screen... although the ending wasn't satisfactory for me..... I really wanted a different ending.... I'm glad I watched it, but I won't be watching this again.
Cast: Jo Hyun Jae's role was my favorite as he played Han Kang - I loved him to pieces <3 I loved Ji Hyun 2nd best....then the Scheduler, I really liked him too. I didn't really care for the other characters - they were all important to the drama but I didn't really like them.
Music was excellent, I think I liked every single song (especially the one that kept singing: Nunmulinanda (something about tears))
The point to the show I guess is to live you life to the fullest without regrets but to me the point didn't make sense b/c of how they ended it - kinda feels like "what was the point of going through all of this if they were going to do what they did in the end...." so to me it made the show a little pointless but that's just my personal opinion.
the end left me feeling disappointed....
Re-watch value = 0 - I won't be re-watching this drama - one time was enough for me....

Ok, I really really LOVED every minute of this drama <3 sure there were a lot of "cliché's" but if you're like me and don't mind things being that way - as long as it's a good fun drama then I'd say Go For It! I started this drama b/c it was called Trot Lovers - being it was about Trot music and I love trot music - the second reason was for Ji Hyun Woo (I really wanted to see another drama with him since Queen In-Hyun's Man).
A Lot of people seemed miffed by episode 11 or 12 but I thought everything flowed really nicely and I wasn't disappointed in this drama at all - every episode was enjoyable -
Cast: I loved Joon Hyun, Chun Hee, & Byul Best :D the president and his dad were nice and fun (most of the time) to watch & Tae Song & Pil Nyeo were hilarious ;) - and of course there were a couple characters you loved to dislike lol
Music: Exceptionally Amazing - I loved each and every song!!!
Re-watch Value: 10/10 - I will most definitely re-watch this drama again (maybe even right away lol)
Story: the story was really good, I like how they gradually showed the characters getting close together over time - it was really sweet and special to watch. I had a great time with this drama ;)

The basis of this story was good, and if directed by someone different maybe it could have been more life filled, I liked the bonding between the women, they really stood up for each other and literally became each other's family. It was nice watching they bake, learn, and sing/dance together *song* 'Gen, gen, gen, gentlemenida' - I'd get a kick out of Yeong Ok (Yoko) whenever she'd belt out this song lol - As for the romance aspect of this drama, it was good but nothing spectacular. I loved the growth in character of Do Jin (Do Sang Woo) & I actually liked his story more than the leads :P I loved Woo Seok's (Ha Suk Jin) character/personality, he was smart, loyal and honest about his feelings & his daughter was adorable (even if she did look the same throughout the passing of the years lol) The 'Ma' family = drama drama and more drama... they were totally shameless (all except for Do Jin & Do Hyun). If you have a headache then you must have met the 'Ma' family. They deliver them in all sorts of ways... Honestly the first half of this drama was better than the second half - if it had been shorter it might have succeeded.

Rant----->*I decided to watch this drama for Han Ji Hye but honestly she disappointed me in this drama, I don't know what it was that was bothering me so much about her, but her acting just seemed to be really lacking compared to her previous drama, I don't know if if was b/c she doesn't play the "pitiful" role "weak woman" type character well or what but she was definitely off & lacking something. I kept wishing they'd fix her hair but they never did (besides the cameo hair change once in a long while) She doesn't look good with her hair parted down the center - it makes her face look so LONG. I think she needed more makeup too - at least around the eyes, lips & cheeks - she looked deathly most of the time.* *the settings were too fake & that bothered me a little too*

Music was pleasant to the ears and I have a couple songs saved to listen to again :)

I won't rewatch this -

*I had originally planned to watch this drama when it first came out and was airing but at the time I wasn't nearly as interested in the concept of "pottery/ceramics" so I only watched the first episode and put it on hold, until a few days ago when I decided to watch it again - this time I wanted to watch it for Lee Sang Yoon and since I had just finished a Historical, I was craving another. It really proves that you have to watch certain dramas at the right time - b/c I couldn't have enjoyed this drama nearly as much as I did if I had watched it back then. I also wasn't as familiar with the cast as I am today - which is another big plus.*

I really enjoyed this drama, I was pulled into the story as soon as I re-watched episode 1 and I could barely keep my attention away the few days that followed ^^ This drama never got draggy or boring in any way to me - it had good pacing and even flowed with some real history events - like the Imjin war they introduced toward the last 2 episodes & hinted at in previous episodes. A lot of people commented saying how disappointed they were in this drama, whether it be acting, story, or writing - but I loved it - every aspect of it! And it even made me itch to want to make some ceramics myself lol The romance was beautifully written in both aspects Tae Do & Gwanghae's love for Jung Yi <3 I loved both of these guys - of course I shipped her with Gwanghae - but I was never against Tae Do. A drama where I can love both my leading men ^_^ It ended how I expected it would. I cried during episodes 30 & 32 :"( It has a realistic ending, which is rather sad and slightly depressing but in it's own way still romantic.

Lee Sang Yoon as Gwanghae did a great job! I thoroughly enjoyed his role, the way he admired and loved Jung made my heart beat fast ^^ Kim Bum as Tae Do won my heart as Jung's Orabeoni, he staked his life and entire existence on protecting her <3 Moon Geun Young as Jung Yi was very well played, started out as a girl who was raised with ceramics teaching but didn't care for it until later and when she started to learn she went all the way. Imhae was funny in the beginning and I laughed a lot during his scenes but later when he started to be more cruel - I just disliked him. I also really liked Il Nam & his pals who always hung around Jung ^^ They were such a kick! :P

Music: I'm especially fond of Bobby Kim's song 'Forever You' and Park Ji Min's song 'I Love You' <3

I will probably re-watch this drama again sometime in the future ^^ and I'd recommend it.

A good fun drama for anyone who likes the older style of Korean music mixed in with action, suspense, and romance. Set in the 1960's-1989 or so ;) About a man who's life was turned around when a certain man destroyed his family. About a man who starts up a music business "No Business Like Show Business." He raises up singers and entertainers and has an enemy who tries to squash everything he does. Bad guys trying to take out the good guy and the good guy standing up to all their advances.

Cast: Ahn Jae Wook as Kitae - I loved him to pieces!! and I liked him more and more as each episode passed^^ Nam Sang Mi as Lee Jeonghye - I also really liked her character, she starts off naive and sweet and grows into a mature, elegant dignified lady :) Son Dam Bi as Yu Chaeyeong she's our second lead girl who's not really evil for a change, I did get annoyed at her ignorance a few times (especially in the middle of the drama) but other than that I liked her. and Lee Pil Mo as Cha Su Hyeok - he made my blood boil so much! I couldn't believe the things he was doing to someone who never did a single wrong to him! There was only a short time at the end where I liked him even a little. Shin Da Eun as Kang Myeonghui (Kitae's sister) she annoyed me throughout most of the drama - only during the last few episodes did she start being nice. Jang Chul Hwan one of those guys who I seriously wonder how he has all these connections with that extremely hot temper of his! He made me mad all the way until the end - I just wanted him gone! Jo Taesu was hilarious! Loved him! :D I won't name anyone else but they all played their roles exceptionally well - you either loved them or you didn't and some you just couldn't ever figure out.

OST - Perfection! I loved every song: Favorites: Afterschool's "Did You Forget", Wax's "Love", Ahn Jae Wook's "Please Heaven's", Son Jin Young's "Men Don't Cry", JM's "Foolish Love" and Ahn Jae Wook's "Wind" :D

I may re-watch this.

I loved every second of this drama, I was interested in watching it for Park Hae Jin, then after watching Angel Eyes, I found out Lee Sang Yoon was in it too and Lee Bo Young - and I love all these actors, so I finally decided to watch it - and I am SO glad I did :D I have stayed up late several nights till around 3am just to keep watching ? I loved all the characters - including the "elder" actors - some family dramas you skip a lot but this one is one of the really good ones where you don't skip at all ? I loved Sangu & Hojeong's relationship but even more so I loved Seo Young and Ujae's relationship - I have cried in both good and painful times with them - so many tears, so much laughter and smiles - great writing! thank you!!!!!!

Each of the characters make you feel for them - the main "stressed" point of this drama was "don't think only from your own perspective (how you were raised and how you think) but think from others perspectives - don't judge others actions based on what you believe is right and wrong - we all grow up different and that shapes who we are.

Music was so good - especially the instrumental they put with Hojeong's scenes - it was perfect.

This drama is going in my Masterpiece collection :D <3

If you love Family dramas but are hesitant to start watching this - don't be - watch it NOW - it's that good!
