It's better to say there's no romance in Golden Empire. Because when you say there's romance then they will expect: hugging, kissing, confessions and the rest of cheesy moments that are nowhere to be found in this drama.

That conversation of Golden Empire made my day! The most underrated drama this year because romance lovers and fangirls are the peak of the world these days. Also, I am glad to see TEN 2 in your top 5 Cheer :)

Yes! It's really great but I still have two episodes to finish it because I was busy and I had to catch up with Empress Ki.

I can't get over how much IRIS 2 and Golden Empire are underrated out of Korea especially the latter. I guess romantic plots lovers rule the world or something. There's also Special Affairs Team TEN 2 which I found quite underrated this year.
As for Japanese dramas Take Five fits the category perfectly.

I only saw Gu Family book from this list and I didn't hate it. But it's still super overrated though.
