I have finished watching the show ahead of its global premiere on Netflix next weekend. I also submitted an edit to the show's information here on MDL, but apparently, it was not approved? The show has a total of 12 episodes, which began streaming in Japan from June 11 to August 20. The global premiere with subs is on September 03.
Now, on to my current thoughts. This program is without a doubt in my top five of the reality dating series that have been on this year. Even though it's not perfect, you're in for a ride if you watch it. In comparison to other (reality dating) shows that I've watched so far this year, this one has superior cinematography, editing, and background music. And for the cast, whether they joined the show for clout since most of them are actors in the industry. It's impossible to ignore the range of emotions they experienced during the show, particularly at the end of it. I really hope Abema will team up with Netflix once more if they decide to carry out Season 15 next year.
No, I read news interview from the Disney+ leadership it was incorrect. They never meant to leave the Korean market,…
Did you even understand my comment? I mean, I clearly said they laid off their OTT content team. I didn’t say they would be leaving the Korean market. For marketing side, I don’t think it is fair to blame their domestic team. It should be thr Disney+ management as a whole, they suck at distributing Korean shows unlike Netflix.
I'm curious if Disney changed their minds after seeing the success of this show. For anyone who's not aware – Last June 15, it was reported that Disney Korea laid off their entire domestic OTT content team (the people responsible for these Disney+ Originals). And while all drama line-ups they announced this year will be released, the future is uncertain.
(Yes, I copy pasted this from my own comment in MDL's ‘Moving’ article on the homepage. I commented this here too because I want to hear what people thought about this.)

Is no one watchingg? WeTV has uploaded the first ep but per usual they are machine translated and a lot of the…
You can watch it on VIKI. Subs are done by real people. WeTV (Tencent) always cut corners on its variety-reality shows. They don’t even bother subbing them (always machine-translated subs).
Seems like WeTV will be uploading the official English subs: https://twitter.com/wetvofficial/status/1681195187199156226?s=46&t=PWPzfA-V0SrLfAwjDw6o0A
WeTV? — Don’t expect anything from them lol. They don’t sub shows like this. It is always machine-translated (the subs) like they did with last year’s Heart Signal 5. Thankfully, VIKI picked it up and subbed it (I’m referring to Heart Signal 5 here. No word yet if an OTT except WeTV pick it up for intl. streaming). The machine-translated subs are bad.
So I see people here are comparing this to Hidden Love. Like, come on, they are entirely different stories. If you like Hidden Love, you shouldn't watch this drama. You're just wasting your time complaining and comparing here.
Edit: Are people evaluating this drama based on the ratings and comments? Lol. I mean, there have been a few good dramas that have a rating below average here in MDL. So ratings here don't matter that much. If you want to know if it is your type of drama, you should watch a few episodes, then if it isn’t your type, drop it.
Korean dating shows are usually like that. The PDs arrange and setup what the casts will do. In this case, since…
Seohyeon caught my eye too in the first episode. Aside from her, Seoyeong who resembles Red Velvet YERI caught my attention too. Lastly, for the girls Jiwoo looks cute not gonna lie. She could be an idol or something. Though, I'm not rooting for a particular person at the moment since the first three episodes are more like in "getting to you know you" phase. And similar to what you said, I think all the casts are great. Looking forward to the new episodes this upcoming Tuesday!
This is soo cute!! It’s gotta be a lil bit scripted atleast somehow bc scenarios are def set up but it’s still…
Korean dating shows are usually like that. The PDs arrange and setup what the casts will do. In this case, since it follows a narrative that they have to attend School 19. Their tasks/missions are scripted, but the conversation and all the other stuff they do are not.
