i went into this blind lol was surprised when it was japanese because the cover made them look kinda white 😭😭😭…
This is the Japanese style. Philosophy, allegory, non-verbal conversations, aesthetics of silence. For those who are not familiar with Japanese cinema, it will be very unusual to watch. This is completely normal.
I absolutely loved the film. But due to the film's format, the script was mercilessly reworked. Those who haven't read the manga may not understand all the moments. The movie left out how obsessed Sugiki was with Suzuki. They didn't fully explain why he chose Suzuki. This was a very important moment for Sugiki. Those who haven't read the manga can only guess.
This is one example.A lot has been redone. I really hope that the director will talk about all the important missed moments in the second film.
These weren't judges, but representatives of his foreign team, as far as I remember.
Yes. He most likely knows. I don't remember such a scene in the manga (I read it a long time ago). In general, there are not many original scenes here. The script was heavily revised to suit the film format.
Bro ~~~ Yes, this is a very useful series, especially for Japanese people. I like that the topic of gay acceptance in society is raised here. The state is trying to make life easier for gays. Japan, as usual, is taking its own unusual path in this regard. Instead of simply legalizing marriages, they came up with analogues. Couples will be able to have all the same rights as a married couple. The main thing is that guys and girls don’t have to worry about their future. . Well, the main couple is very cute.
ATTENTION REGARDING THE ENDING OF THE FILM!!!!! . . I'm 100% sure there will be a second film. The ending just screams it. In the manga itself, the main characters took a long time to reach the 10 dances so it’s not surprising that the first film didn’t feature the main competition. But there should definitely be 10 dances. And many hidden pitfalls were left unexplained. The director definitely saved everything for the second film. There is still so much material left.
As I already said, the ending just screams for us to wait for the sequel! I am very inspired.
I'm back! Wow, there are so many porn lovers in the comments here! You clearly entered the wrong door. This is a film about dancers who convey their passion through dance, they speak the language of their bodies. This is a completely different world. I think many people here don't understand this. It's strange to expect anything different after the film's trailer and description. . . The spirit of the manga was captured incredibly well. Passion, emotions, longing, desire were conveyed with simply filigree precision. Ryoma was especially incredible. The director decided to focus on Suzuki and I understand why. But the canon had to be sacrificed a little. Okay, I won't talk about it. I absolutely loved the film. I watched it for 4 hours. Keita and Ryoma are an incredibly beautiful couple. They look so good together. OMG...
