Check your 1st comment that I responded to you said nobody is shipping them and that romance fans are mad because some people are talking about the chemistry between ZH and MP and not our precious ship ( your words not mine) my response to your comment was that actually people are shipping them and romance fans are not angry we are just stating that these people are hypocrite

We would have to agree to disagree on whether she is a complex character or not ( to me she is and if you say she isn't that's your opinion and I respect it) I’m not going to try and convince you that she is. And I never said we should not criticize her character( this is fiction everyone should be able to express their opinions), what I said is that some people(not everyone) but some people over-criticize her character for what they deem is immaturity ( and most of these people say the drama doesn't need romance, they disregard her character ) that isn't fair. My main issue is the blatant hypocrisy of some of the anti-romance crowd that has zero problem with saying the drama doesn't need romance and then turning around shipping ZH and the MP. I mean you just said no romance, so why are you now shipping him with this man ( who is actually a terrible person) I’m not saying the MP isn't a compelling character. People don't have to like the FL but at least they should be consistent.

I had to google search the meaning of yaoi _ Yaoi is a fictional genre, originating in Japan, that depicts romantic and erotic relationships between male characters. _ So yeah for the person who wrote that comment to use this word, they obviously know the meaning. And you said we don't let you guys forget about the romantic subplot, people ask questions wanting to know if there is romance and the answer given is that yes there is but it is a subplot the main focus of the drama is revenge and that's not all we talk about I would argue that the anti-romance crowd are always harping on how they don't want romance (someone even wrote that if there is romance they will drop the drama and downvote it) the anti-romance crowd has been going on since before the drama aired (before we even started commenting on the romance) that they don't want romance that the drama does not need it the drama should focus solely on revenge. There are people who don't want romance between the leads because they are male and female (I won't generalize and say it’s everyone who has made comments on the portrayal of the FL) obviously like what you like that's your business but these people never miss a chance to over criticize her character for what they deem is immaturity. I would end this with there is still a lot of mystery surrounding her character that has yet to be explained and yes to me she is a complex character the drama is still ongoing so there's room for character development.

Some Questions as I watch this drama - and a long winded post, so bear with me:(1) Given this drama airs daily,…
1. From my estimation, since they are releasing 2 episodes per day, the drama should end on June 4(if they release the last 4 episodes together ) or June 5 if they stick to the 2 episodes per day. 2. While the drama is focused on revenge there is a romance subplot and so far I am loving it. I love the way they are pacing it, the chemistry between the ML and FL is just too good and their interactions feel natural to their characters… it's not forced. 3. I'm not too sure but I think it is a mixture of both.
xz has crazy chemistry with ZJY, which is something I rarely see.
Their chemistry here is insane( I love it). Xiao Zhan also has excellent chemistry with Yang Zi( The Oath of Love is one of my favorite Cdrama of all time and also my very 1st Xiao Zhan drama)
She isn’t silly or stupid for crying when her ex showed up; I understand why she was upset. Seven years is a significant amount of time. Her ex is truly terrible, and I applaud her for hitting him with those flowers!
After today’s episode, I can understand why she is hesitant to enter into a new relationship. However, I don’t support or like the way she treated Dr. He. I believe she could have communicated her feelings to him more openly. I think she should travel abroad, as she clearly needs time to heal and focus on herself. Additionally, she should apologize to Dr. He; she did lead him on, and I hope this isn’t glossed over because it’s very important.
Now, onto something that really bothers me: Dr. He, please step back. I love you (you’re a green flag), but your actions are just a no-no. He should have some self-respect. At this moment in their relationship, I feel the ball is actually in Xifan’s court, and he should give her the chance to pursue him as well. I believe he also needs time to sort out his emotions.
