I decided to trust an MDL rating and comments too for once and soldiered through the laugh track and I'm glad I did, this was a gem and after a couple of episodes, the laugh track was background noise.
I note the important stuff only, like all the food related T-shirts in each episode... Natto/Sashimi/Miso soup/Sushi/Ramen/burger/ Ice cream/ bean sprout etc. 🧐
Moon lovers, A Korean Odyssey and Signal because years later I still need answers!! Make Our days Count for obvious reasons, Kinnporsche because Korn must die🤔
I didn't like the step sibling thing at all, maybe it's because where I'm from siblings don't have to be half or full blood only, but they can be 'zero blood' too, quoting one comment below "it's icky" (to me), the drama itself was kinda good, but they could've stopped at 24 episodes.
This kinda BS nonsense is the very reason I rarely watch dramas while they're airing...
I feel misled, I'm a fan of the US version, yes and yes I expected Raphael to be the one, and NO, I don't mind big changes in remakes, BUT why develop the relationship with Raphael on screen the way they did, I really don't like it when writers decide to do things like this for shock value... AND I mostly saw the SML?🤔 on screen chasing criminals and I also saw his relationship with the FL through flashbacks (mostly)
The worst part for me is how I skipped other parts and hoped the romance would save it, but apparently not.
It's not about who she ended up with (mostly) , it's me being misled for shock value that I didn't like.
Arg I'm miffed, I wanna be classy about this, but I'm failing. 😐
S2 brought the horror(ish) element that lacked a little for me in S1, but since it's more of a continuation, looking at all 6 episodes, the escalation from 1 to 6 makes sense. I still like it, waiting for 3 more ❤️
It's been a minute, but I still remember it being good.
After watching "Why her?" I needed to watch something good or even mediocre at best, but this was almost God tier.
