I have to agree with you. This series is really serious and there are definitely some very important issues that are being pointed out about real life problems. What I did not get it at first was that Hai Qing had his first kiss by Yuan Fei, and when this happened Hai Qing did not have a boyfriend therefore, he fell in love at first sight. Once I looked at ep 1& 2 again, I got a better understanding of their relationship. Still Yuan Fei is truly going through a lot of emotional distress, uncertainty, and pain. Jimmy is also going through a lot of emotional distress and uncertainty, he loves Yuan Fei a great deal, but he is getting hurt by the one he loves because he does not remember important things ,like his birthday after being together for two years. That's not all, this series will deal with a mother and son relationship. Coming out issues. Forgiveness. Death. Protecting someone who they love the most. Most importantly letting go, so that the one they love can be happy. WOW. Deep !!
