In every single preview they are showing someone dying but that is just strategic i think not anyone is going to die at the end. And i hope this gong really give us good ending even though he is obsessed with bad endings.

The comedy scenes are not actually comedy scripts. It is not forced at all. As i myself getting old this is also my common reaction to most of the things. For example the 4 main leads are calm but also keep on taunting each other and this is a pattern u will see in most elderly people. It signifies they actually accept what they feels and they don't give shit about small talks. They are adults and leaders gods etc so they pas unhinged comments (cause they are fearless) but also calls everyone with full names. Mr zhou, great demon, baize goddess.It is actually a mature comedy which only mature people will understand. Adults also don't mind flirting with same sex or opposite. That's why they always never reacts. Whereas the 2 younger people try to show or crave love and hence try to crack childish jokes or goofy things that elders find cute not funny. I have seen alot of people try to pretend mature, goofy or funny Infront of me and i have same unbothered reaction.

This is the first time i am so invested in communication and i really like everyone perspective its like everyone has something different to tell about each scene and all of them make sense. The attention to details is insane. This is for sure going to be my 1st drama that i will rewatch just to rewatch the details i missed. I am so happy to see everyone comments and I would be very happy if anyone reply to me.

Yes i am also seeing people not giving it enough attention. I want this to get recognition. It is such a new cinematic experience. It is a new concept. But i think people just want good visuals, romance and action scenes and they don't invest themselves on the plots. But seeing so many comments and discussion here really making me believe it is indeed a masterpiece.

But that was the thrill of the whole show didn't the drama literally mean my journey to you. All journeys end somewhere. Not all journeys leads to destinations and that really makes destiny. But yes if mjty has a season 2 i will feel complete ✅💯

This is first time i saw (zyc) as such a strong character who can never get manipulated but it is so sad that he always got betrayed and used by his own people and morals.
In this life he definitely got friends who can never betray him. But fate is going to be cruel regardless.
Gong really knows how to put his audience on a chokehold and the fact that they showed loneliness and despise so accurately is amazing.

So dear this drama is indeed a very slow burn and it is meant to be like this. It is for those audience who like deep dark intricate plots. 90% of its weight is in talking and for alot of people it is very boring but for those who like philosophy would like it alot. For example i am replying every dialogue for like 10 times and i like the slow and painful pace so it is a masterpiece for me. I think first 15 episode are actually very boring because they have the same old used and abused plot of detectives solving cases but after that the real stories of each character and then the ultimate battle starts where they completely gets immerse in their roles. So yeah first half is not actually exceptional. And it is a fact that it is like my journey to you drama where either you are going to like it to the moon and back or you will hate it to the bones. Romance is also very limited more focus on friendship. But from philosophy point of view each episode has its own ending with a lesson learned and past revealed. Watch it if you are into sarcasm, dark academia and leg pulling concepts. hope this will help.

He was stunned he used one word spell but zyc blocked him and he was quick but also panicked as wx was hurt. And he himself was in a state of extreme anger, grief, sympathy that he forget his own powers. I have seen this happening in real life sometimes we just freezes in time of desperation.
