havent watched this yet, do they actually kill people and is it really gruesome, or is it more of a lighthearted…
More of a calm watch with serious moments, nothing very dark or gruesome. They only kill one person to save child's life - abusive father was trying to kill his daughter, main characters saved kid's life by killing him. We will probably get more deaths before series ends, but story is establishing MCs's potential victims as evil. Their terminal sickness is also more mentioned than shown. We get scenes where they faint and feel bad, but nothing emotionaly exhausting for viewers.
I dropped this show midway. Can someone please tell me why the supermarket owner killed his own daughter?
She wasn't his biological daughter. She started to surmise this and wanted to leave him, because there wasn't any reason for her to stay with him. She knew he wasn't a good person, she knew he was pretending and found him creepy. He reacted strongly and killed her, because she wanted to leave just like her mother before her. He spend years searching for her mother, killing all the women who reminded him of her. He also didn't want for anyone to find out she wasn't his daughter. In that moment, it was easier to kill her and tell everyone she run away. But Dong Shik entered the house while supermarket owner was away and found daughter's fingers and guessed correctly that supermarket owner was the serial killer but couldn't confirm it without daughter's body. Really tragic scene, where he looks for her body, without knowing she is buried alive in ground under his feet.
It feels like someone else wrote last two episodes. I hated the ending :(
First they kill Kim Byung In without Kim Jwa Geun (his father!) even acknowledging his death. For the whole drama they showed us that KJG loved KBI. All I wanted was just one sad tear. But no, villains don't cry. Very one-dimensional.
Second they just kick Jang Bong Hwan out of Kim So Yong's body. They replace our main character with someone we (viewers) feel nothing for. Ugh. And we get nothing in exchange. Give us Bong Hwan meeting his parents! Bong Hwan being happy because he can use ingredients that were unreachable in Joseon! At least we deserved to see Bong Hwan's grief because he lost his love and friends.
Until last minute I hoped Bong Hwan will encounter strange lady who will say "A Lady doesn't run" to him. I understand why we couldn't have Bong Hwan and Cheoljong's love in the past. But why not give us even a hint of Cheoljong being reborn in the future? Just this little bit and every viewer would have been happy.
I hated this episode! Everything was happening so fast that it felt like totally different drama. It lacked those heartfelt moments of friendship and companionship from previous episodes.
I think they should've made it a 12-ep drama instead, it's getting draggy and boring.
They should have done more episodes about random evil spirits. It would have given us a break from main plotline, and Jin Chung Shin would have felt more dangerous in comparison. Right now the story feels like it had so much wasted potential!
The best way for a happy ending was to stop watching at episode 19
This is what I did after I saw spoilers for episode 20. Still unhappy, because I spoiled myself and my heart still hurts. I was so afraid for Logan I never thought they will kill someone else :(
Is Yoonhee really Min Seola's murder?? I am so confused Why did they show Dantae as murder in one ep I am just…
We don't know for sure. Joo Dan Te tried to kill Min Seola, but was stopped by OYH. OYH remembers killing her, but it's possible her memory is false because of alcohol. But DNA test points at OYH. I still suspect Joo Seok Kyung is the real murderer and it gets revealed to viewers in last episode - it would be horrific for SSK, if her neglected adopted daughter killed her biological daughter. Really good plot twist, I think.
I just started this and honestly nothing makes sense. Their professions are for higher society, but not the 1%.…
Well. You have to wait until first character dies. This is when plot twists start appearing and the story becomes better. If you like revenge stories, it should be to your liking. Will it make more sense? Not that much :D
Their terminal sickness is also more mentioned than shown. We get scenes where they faint and feel bad, but nothing emotionaly exhausting for viewers.
But I also secretly wish she would write a thriller!
