Yall..i need help making my MUST WATCH list shorter, if i ever want to get close to finishing all these dramas in this life😭😹🥲 please leave comments on dramas that you think are 100% a must see and dramas you think i shouldnt waste my time on watching. I am open to all genres but im not too fond of historical(particularly ancient) dramas but i am open to the historical element used as a past life . Feel free to tell me which belong in that category so i can eliminate them. Also please let me know if you see amy duplicates. Whenever i see a post or video with names of dramas i just add them to my list without checking most of the time the plot, etc. Here is some context for my list.

I mean everyone has different preferences, and this drama was initially advertised as a romcom so I know most of us went in the drama expecting romance to be the main genre of the show, however, the romance takes a back seat so far, and allows for character growth and plot development. It is still there silently in the background, every time the leads glance at each other, and have a silent conversation with their eyes. The romance isn't what drives the plot forward, the characters are. Honestly, we also have to take into consideration how people fell in love back then. If you looked at someone and they looked at you back it meant you both were interested/ liked each other. Hand holding? Outrageous! Many are forgetting the era that this drama is set in, and how the romance used to be so innocent and subtle. I don't doubt people got physical, but it would be considered scandalous at the time.

I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE DRAMAS! In Chicago typewriter, strangely I loved the story of their past life more. The romance was intense but they did not have a happy ending due to the circumstances. But they got to reunite and be happy together and were able to love each other freely. Honestly, I could see snowdrop ending like this too. A tragic, bittersweet, open to interpretation ending. I could see how this could be the way we get both the tragic love story and a romantic happy ending for our main leads

I started watching My Mister and watched the first 3 episodes, but the vibe and aesthetic of the whole drama was really depressing and kind of slow to my liking. I wasn't in a great headspace so I put the drama on hold. I heard that it is great, so I definitely want to finish it at some point. Are the c-dramas that you listed ancient/historical c-dramas? I'm not a huge fan of the genre, because I personally can't relate and makes the drama less enjoyable for me.

I haven't seen Mr. Sunshine nor Reply 1988, B\but I heard they are really good. I have the 1st episode downloaded on Netflix so I will watch them at some point when I find the time!!

That's great. I always hate it when there are unnecessary misunderstandings that could have solved if they had been honest and open with each other. Im all up for healthy adult relationships. I've had enough of the will they won't they because the seconds leads keep on scheming and messing everything up.

"I will go first: I have been watching Asian dramas for almost 6 years now, and my top five picks in no particular order would be: Le Coup de Foudre, It's okay to not be okay, Girl from Nowhere, Hospital Playlist, Kill me heal me. I want to be positive and say that things may turn around for the main lead couple, but godamn it is nearly impossible in the situation they are currently in. It would have to be a whole 180 for sooho, and youngro forgiving him for everything, or maybe understanding his perspective but i would say she is pretty broken right now. Unless they find comfort in one another right now, but that could be hard since sooho is being watched like a hawk right now. Only a big sacrifice from his part could possibly shift this dynamic towards a more romantic relationship imo.

I dont think it was explicitely said that they were in a relationship but it is implied in a way. Like the firdt time Hanna heard that Kangmoo is coming back, the shock on his face when he saw her after many years, her breaking down when he protected her and took the bullet for her,etc.

I rarely watch thai dramas since they all kind of seem repetitive too me in the aspect of getting revenge and the main leads doing stupid stuff to hurt each other because of other's mistakes. I am so happy the cast is now sharing pictures from the set. It was a rough path to get here for the casts but it was definetely worth it. Cant wait to see more behind the scenes moments and interactions!

Jokes aside, i like this romance we are getting from this drama. It is definetely not your standard outright open affection drama. Its more subtle and it can be found in the small things in my opinion. I've missed this kind of romance. One that is not for the viewers, but it is spoken through the eyes of the leads. Their romance is like their own little secret that they want to keep for themselves. The stolen glances, they expression in their eyes.. its so good.. A forbidden romance that is not about the skinship, and really makes you crave and apprecaiate every moment they show their affection. Especially for Sooho, his eyes speak way more than his mouth ever could. He doesnt mean what he says, and the only way to read him is through the way he looks at Youngro when no one else is watching.
