I agree natural is best. Most of the asian actors wear make up in their dramas though. They always look different like irl. Kind of like how a woman looks with and without make up. Sometimes i think they look too pretty. Lol.

They put eye makeup on Dylan also. When i look at Dylan in like Meteor Garden and Rational Life he is natural looking with his eyes . But in Fairy and Devil and this series( as well as his photo shoots ) he has the eye make up. Since he has an endorsement for Maybelline and Lancome i guess it makes sense for c drama actors. But when you see him shooting hoops or chillin' he doesn't wear it.

I am watching her with Lin Yi in Memories of Encaustic Tile. She is better here, although really like Lin Yi.

I think her eyes are fine to fit the story. She doesn't convey much emotion like say Shen Yue does with her bling eyes but that is probably her acting style.

I am enjoying it as it is, but would have liked to see where she finds out he's not a eunuch. That episode was leading up to that. Other than that it's really good. I don't understand why China censorship does that with this drama. In Day of Becoming You the kissing scenes were kinda hot and Steven Zhang was fire. Was this novel that spicy that Dylan had to dial it down ?

It has some heart wrenching scenes, but there's some sweet scenes with the leads. It seems to be a combination.

Someone on here for Mr. Bad had a link to that series on Kisskh. Mr. Bad took forever to drop episodes on Viki too. I finally got to rewatch it and enjoyed it more than waiting so long between episodes.

I pay monthly membership fees for Amazon Prime, Hulu, Pure Flix, Netflix, Viki, Disney +, and Paramont +. I decided to drop cable last year and so i have these ( hubs and boys like ) Viki is for my Asian dramas , but they take longer to drop. I am grateful because they have eng subtitles.

I didnt get iqiyi. I don't want another streaming service. I have so many monthly memberships. 7 at last count because of Paramount + to watch Top Gun Maverick .
