I really like this drama, one of my go to shows, when I'm feeling down. Quite quirky, but full of life advice. And the main actress is really funny.

Agree, it actually got me to read the manga, which is not something I usually do :)

There are mostly rom-coms, often a bit cliched, but cute (ok, sometimes too cute)-best ones would be Devil beside you and Why Why Love, because the leads have just amazing chemistry between them, I am not a bit fan of them apart, but together they are great. If not only based on love, I'd say Hot shot( funny CGI basketball)and Skip Beat!(the middle part is the best, so stick at least for 3-4 episodes, the main actress did a really good job here)

Experimental? What do you mean? I don't really have a good system to fit dramas into my schedule... Frankly they've have cause some trouble for me. Like demolition of my time management ^_^ At the moment I have some issues I need to work out first, but then I going to work on myself to fit all the thighs I consider important into my daily lifestyle.

People who can share their drama fascination with someone are really lucky! I'm still trying to get my husband into it. First time I tried it was HYD (probably the worst decision ever -he's far too nice to accept such behavior toward others as F4's). I also tried Bloody Monday and City Hunter with him - he didn't get past episode 2. He promised to watch Gaksital with me( I haven't yet)- so we shall see. Of course there is one drama he watched fully (3 times actually)- it's NODAME ^_^ He really liked it. Stresseman and wife of Eto-sensei were his favorite characters^_^ I also got my mom to watch it, and it was perfect for her-she graduated for music academy, and when there was that first scene with Chiaki and Eto-sensei, she started remembering how her piano teacher once throw her out from lesson too. ^_^

Oh yes, he is. I used just heard the name, like he was someone important, but always skipped his dramas, but then I watched Pride and since my awe don't stop. His fame isn't based on nothing, he is truly an amazing actor. His best dramas are a little bit older (like 2003)but spectacular nonetheless. My favorite so far are Good Luck!! and Pride. At the moment, literally, I'm watching The Great Tribe and it's super intense family/bussiness drama based on true events. It's pretty serious, but WOW.... just WOW.

From your list: City Hunter is a must, Shut Up! Flower boy band was also enjoyable. Tokyo DOGS was really funny. Nodame Cantabile- it's my all-time favorite!

I shall create an account on goodreads then, when I deal with my issues :) I will need some recs for reading.

A bit hard to explain, it's something you say when you meet a new person or when you start a cooperation, I think the meaning is 'be good to me' If you watch jdramas and you focus you'll hear them saying that quite often. ^_^

Though sometimes I think I might like Persuasion better, but only sometimes. Have you ever seen a movie ? Jane Austen book club? ? It?s not Asian of course, but it was great. What are Goodreads? I saw you mentioning it somewhere? I need to go back to reading books, I watch too much dramas ^_^
