this was one of those dramas I can not explain..You know the feeling, from the start you find everything ridiculous…
Definitely. In the end I didn't feel as much as I thought I would for the two leads even so it's my favourite type of Drama. But I don't know; something was just missing for me.
Have to Aggree Barbie's acting doesn't seem as stellar as some people make it out to be. Overall it's an OK Drama but I am just not seeing it as the epic one so many people seem to make it out to be. Like you said maybe it needed to be watched at the time rather than years later & especially not after having seen the amount of Dramas I have seen LOL because I have definitely seen better & I haven't even felt the urge to include it in my favourites list.

TongDao was indeed quite interesting & probably kept me watching to see what happened with him but in the end I am just not seeing this Drama as amazing like so many others have.

I liked your article. Made me giggle so came for a nosey & added you. Hope that's ok. :)
"...And I am also one of those who prefers the drama version of Koizora over the movie."
Yay someone else who prefers the Drama over the movie. Starting to think I was the only one! Also went in completely blind which in hindsight is probably a good thing because I avoid sad Dramas/Movies like the plague. But glad I didn't miss out but OMG buckets of tears were had XD! Was depressed for weeks after watching it >.<!!!

Yup loved the intro music & intro in general. But all in all still a bit 0.o & not sure why LOL.
It's strange because it's just the genre or Drama I love but couldn't really feel that much for the characters in the end. Must have been something that made me carry on watching though as I didn't drop it.
Honestly I think that really is a matter of personal taste rather than anything else. You can't really state it as if it were a fact. While I agree with some of those, others not so much. Can't comment fully since there are a few Dramas listed that I haven't seen yet either. But each to their own I guess. :)
A bit of advice for those who haven't started watching this yet.
I rarely do this but on a whim I started watching even so the subs are not 100% done yet; BIG MISTAKE! Don't. Wait until it's completed as you will want to marathon this like no tomorrow. I was at episode 4 before I even knew it! Had to force myself to stop otherwise I could have easily reached the end of the available subbed episodes in one sitting.
So far I have only seen 2 from that list. Kazoku no Uta & Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou. Both of which I did enjoy. Especially liked Kazoku no Uta & not really sure why people didn't like it so much. I wasn't a huge fan of Odagiri Joe before I saw this but it did make me want to check out more of his works. It has some funny & cute moments. Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou was a bit silly but also had some fun moments.
The others don't really appeal tbh which is why I have seen them. May check out Omo ni Naitemasu though.
Out of the 2012 Dramas I've seen, the one I didn't like the most is the GTO remake. Completely disappointed me & had to really push myself through to finish it.

Hi. Nice profile. Adding you. Hope you don't mind. :)
I have started several tdramas, and not once have I made it past the first 15 or 20 minutes. I wonder if it's…
Ah I wanted to see that too but I read about the horrible dubbing & I just knew there was no point *sigh*. It's so depressing to think there are so many good TDramas out there ruined by crappy dubbing. People kept saying I'd get used to it but honestly I just can't. :(
I think that's just the way TDramas are made; I read somewhere that it's because the original audio when filming scenes is not something that's paid much attention to until they bring everything into the studios for editing; which where they add the audio track. I wish I could find the article that sort of explained why most TDramas were dubbed but I lost the link.

Glad to know I am not the only other one who can't stand dubbing; which is why I end up passing on so many TDramas! I just can't handle it at all & it ends up irritating me too much. Such a shame as some of them look so good. There are a few that aren't dubbed though. Mainly the ones I managed to finish didn't seem to be. Maybe you can try those if you still want to have a go at TDramas. :)
