I absolutely love every character in this drama. The way it’s been set up and directed is truly exceptional it draws you in so deeply that you can’t help but grow attached to each character. Even on my fourth watch, it still feels just as captivating, and this time I’ve really come to appreciate the butcher squad their dynamic is so entertaining 😅🎉

It’s also so adorable how Jin Yuan Bao clearly has a crush on Fan Changyu aww cute😍😂

And of course incredible handsome lineup of actors. From Zhang Linghe to Deng Kai, Li Qing, Ren Hao, and Lin Mu Ran each one brings their own unique charm and striking presence. Their visuals, combined with their talent, make the drama even more captivating to watch🫶😍🔥👏👏👏

Honestly, I’m already on my fourth rewatch, and I still can’t get enough. I must mention that one of the actors that truly stands is Ren Hao😊 his acting is so natural, expressive, and captivating to watch. He brings so much depth to his character that you can’t help but be drawn in every time he’s on screen.

He absolutely deserves more main lead roles because he has that rare presence that carries a story effortlessly. And on top of that… he’s incredibly handsome, which just makes him even more unforgettable😊

Sorry just boring as hell

I honestly thought I’d move on after finishing it, but I keep finding myself going back. There’s something so special about it that makes it impossible to let go, and every rewatch just reminds me why I loved it so much in the first place.

I love the pairing between Lin Mu Ran and Tian Xi Wei in some scenes as well it would be so great to see them lead a drama together. This is my first time watching Lin Mu Ran, and I’m genuinely impressed by his performance. He has such a strong screen presence, and I’d definitely love to see more of his work in future projects😊

I think part of the reason I’m losing interest is because I’m not really a fan of Chen Du Ling. In most of her dramas, she comes across as quite passive and lacking energy🥴🥴🥴. It’s hard to tell whether it’s her acting or just the way her characters are written, but they often feel dull and unengaging.

She also doesn’t seem to match well alongside Joseph Zeng his performance is much more expressive and dynamic, which makes the pairing feel unbalanced. Unfortunately Joseph Zeng is too good

Just cannot continue as much as I tried to. Oh well I guess if you’re boring and have nothing much to do but watch this. Back to Pursuit of Jade . Byyeeee😂

Boring had to drop and watch pursuit of Jade 4th time . I’m especially disappointed because Joseph Zeng is one of my absolute favourites. He has such strong screen presence and undeniable talent, yet this storyline doesn’t give him the opportunity to truly shine. It feels like his potential is being underutilised, almost wasted on a plot that lacks depth and cohesion.

Honestly, he deserves a far better-written role something with substance, strong character development, and a storyline that actually matches his level as an actor.

Need to mention Deng Kai’s performance is truly on another level he brings such natural intensity, depth, and authenticity to every scene he’s in. Whether it’s emotional moments or subtle expressions, he delivers with a presence that’s hard to ignore and often leaves a lasting impression. It’s clear that he has the talent and charisma to carry a story on his own, and honestly, it feels like he’s already operating at main lead level. We definitely need to see him given more opportunities in main lead roles where he can fully showcase everything he’s capable of.

Pursuit of Jade is only the second Chinese drama I’ve ever rewatched since getting into C-dramas the first being Who Rules the World.

The two main leads absolutely delivered👏🔥🙌 their chemistry, their emotions, everything felt so natural and powerful. The storyline was captivating from start to finish, and it never lost its momentum.

What really stood out to me was the overall production. The cinematography, the effects, the attention to detail everything was done so beautifully. It honestly felt like a complete package.🔥🔥

I need more dramas with this kind of quality and storytelling.

I really wish Ju Jingyi and Joseph Zeng had been paired together in this drama🥴🥴🥴 I think they would’ve made a much better match. Unfortunately, the current pairing just didn’t hold my interest.

It’s disappointing because Ju Jingyi is one of my favourite actresses, but her voice in this role felt a bit distracting, which made it harder to stay engaged.

I’m definitely hoping to see Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng in a historical romance drama together soon that would be such a strong and exciting pairing.

As a foreigner, my interest in Chinese movies was initially sparked by globally recognized actors such as Jackie Chan and Jet Li😊

However, it was contemporary actors like Zhao Lusi, Yang Yang, Joseph Zhang, and Zhang Linghe who truly drew me into the world of Chinese dramas.

Recently, I came across several short dramas featuring Yao Guan Yu, and I was thoroughly impressed by his exceptional acting skills and screen presence👌

Despite the limited runtime of these productions, he consistently delivers compelling and emotionally resonant performances that truly stand out.

Yao Guan Yu deserves greater recognition and should be cast in top-tier Chinese television series alongside leading actors such as Yang Yang, Leo Wu, and Zhang Linghe.

His talent, versatility, and on-screen charisma make him more than capable of taking on prominent roles in mainstream productions.

As a new fan from New Zealand looking forward to seeing his career continue to rise and hope that he receives the opportunities he deserves👌🙌☺️

When I first saw the trailer for this series, I was ready for some intense romance between Han Li and Nangong Wan. But now, I can't get enough of the action-packed scenes and the hilarious moments between Han Li and his master, Li Hua Yuan.👌👌👌
My favourite character so far is Li Hua Yuan , Seriously, this guy is a comedic genius! Every time he opens his mouth, I can't help but laugh out loud. His one-liners are pure gold and his facial expressions are just too much🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I mean, who knew a character could be so funny? Li Hua Yuan has definitely stolen the show in my book.🙌😃😃
