#ZhaoLusi: The biggest challenge while portraying this character is that — for such a resolute girl, she still wouldn't find herself pitiful

I was very afraid that this kind of character would let the audience misunderstand that she's in a comfortable position and isn't fully empathising with the struggles others are going through

While having to allow the audience to be able to feel her strength, I needed to make sure it wasn't a stiff performance. I actually found it quite challenging to do that back then

I was hoping more for Duan Wu to use her strength to influence the people around her. To tell others, "Don't live in the eyes of others but you should live for yourself"
