i don’t think her character that annoying to the point that we should complain it over and over again? … 🤣 and her screen times are not that many that can make people complain her over and over again? I am zhao Lusi’s fans… as lusi’s and drama watcher’s i don’t think Qiao Lin’s character is disturbing. She’s fine, she’s just a little spoiled compared to xu yan, they grew up differently … majority of lusi’s fandom also think like that

so in the original script, xu yan was supposed to give a long excuse, "grandma, I want to bring you to jingzhou to attend the wedding but I’m worried the trip back and forth will be too exhausting for you and that your health won’t be able to handle it."

but during filming, actress zhao lusi improvised and shortened it to just "jingzhou is too far" 😭😭😭😭

indeed, the one line hits harder. after all, the fewer the words, the stronger emotions it has brought about to the scene..it brought such a quiet intensity to the scene and beautifully captured the silent understanding between her and grandma.

If you refer to the timeline from present-past-present, i think the most confusing one was on ep.1 when they wrote “6 month ago” onwards, after that they came back to the present in ep.2 minutes 29…..
