The crazy and eccentric mathematicians is actually an Autism, and Actually for 14 ep the story is not boring, but the plot is draggy and slow, this purely directorās fault they just canāt carry 14 ep drama well. Or i might say Lack of fund maybe? Sometimes they just spend too much on the actors by cutting the production costs
