But jie's father was the one made the fake order... emperor wanted to spare all yebei's people life.. then jie's father changed the order to execute yebei people, then his son spare the life of yebei people which leading him against the king's order.. that's why his dad made a drama with the emperor to sacrifice himself in order to save his son.

Does anyone even like Emperor Chao? Are we sure he is not the villain?
Actually i think he's not a bad person at all. He's someone that cared about people . But people keep misunderstanding about him. The sad thing is people around him are evil. I hope general Jie won't become evil too since his dad sacrificed himself for the mistake he made alone anyway.
