While everyone is gleefully anticipating ML‘s apologizing, and what not there’s something when they first yell and fight on the mountain in the beginning that he says to her that I don’t think registers with many people she’s yelling at him about lying and yes, we all know lying we all agree lying was bad but he says something to her that does not sync in and this is what he says it’s not verbatim so I’m not gonna quote it. It’s about the battlefield, she doesn’t even really understand the scope of his words when he tells her “I can die, but you must live on and well.”Meaning she’s got people who love her and who she loves back that she needs to live for and he (as XZ) does not. It’s a powerful sentence that just showcases how absolutely alone he is in the world. And that he has found this bright light that came into his life making him want to live; that is now kicking, yelling, and screaming, trying to extinguish itself. He did the wrong thing by lying, but she has done plenty of wrong herself. She has not been mother Theresa this entire time, especially on the battlefield, making decisions she had no place making.

It’s OK probably easier to fight that way too.

I do feel that even though the ML did lie there has been plenty of stuff that the FL decided on her own that she should not have even if the ML was not who he is. She still should not have made those decisions. So I do agree with your post. Plus, there’s plenty that he has done for her that she does not know about like saving her own behind after she fell off the cliff. There are so many people on the FL’s side that they kind of forget about the ML and everything he has to go through and consider plus the fact that every strategic thought has to come from him.

She herself says that she was too soft hearted and that’s something you can never be on a battlefield. Something else she doesn’t know wasn’t taught should not have been there.

Good point. Also, some wasted CGI on that flood as opposed to a battle between ML and the little shit and his friends. And technically three CP’s though only one is together hanging by a thread or an apology and reconciliation, one is just toxic to no end and one needs to just get their shit together and figure out what they are feeling for each other and move that train along.

Well, that one also lost an arm for dude number two, but if we are really comparing the annihilation of a gang, there’s only one drama for that and that’s a journey to love. Not only did they kill the entire gang they also off the main leads. And all in the span of six episodes, which was absolutely diabolical.

He’s handsome, of course but in this show, I wish he actually did more. Hopefully, as we move through this arc into the next one, we will get to see that.

I would have to agree, except for the part that he did not have to lie to her once he had already officially left. As soon as she fell off that cliff, thanks to the little shit, and he rescued her and saved her life. He could’ve stayed by her side and told her the truth then and it could’ve gone however it would’ve gone or when she got to the military camp in the first place. He spent way too long waiting for the right moment until obviously, as always very cliché, it exposed itself, so to speak.
