I would’ve preferred them to focus more on their careers, especially the snowboarding aspect of it because so much goes into that. But from what I understood the show was originally supposed to be 36 episodes and they cut it down to 23 so a lot was cut hence the lack of cohesion.

It’s still totally half assed because he’s doing all the work and meanwhile she’s just moping and crying and whining. I still can’t get over the fact that in whichever episode she introduced him to her parents as friends brother. That’s just how absolutely clueless she is. Even when her best friend said like you know how mean your mother is she was just not having a penetrate.

That’s like standard operating procedure in C dramas nowadays.

WZ’s favorite phrase in this series is “what do you mean?” Past anime and simple things, she doesn’t understand the complexities others face. The amount of pressure SC has to face not just from his own and sister’s traumas but her idiotic parents. And its face wall with her; like bat radar; bounces off the skull. He’s put so much effort into them being together (noble idiocy arc not withstanding because that was her parents fault) but she just slides on by. This is what happens when sheltered girls from rich families enter the real world; they have absolutely no capability of understanding real hardship. I really don’t find their relationship 50-50 more like 80-20 or 90-10%. And they could’ve skipped the whole noble idiocy arc altogether with so few episodes had she told him what she is saying now back then. Because at the pier, she was completely disassociated and unaware of his feelings whatsoever. The human being next to you is suffering and you’re just all smiles and giggly. There’s no depth there.They definitely needed better communication in this series. And I still think that the FL dresses like a granny and acts like a toddler; production could have at least given her age-appropriate outfits. The relationship of the second and third couples are much more developed and mature. I’m not done watching, but I don’t think this is going to get a score above a high seven from me.
