Yes dw..they will get punished..that trash was sentenced to prison for life for murder and the aunt too bcuz she…
But see that was in the novel will it happen in the drama? We are already see this little hiccup here. It would be great if the entire family went to jail I’d be happy.

OK folks I’m not feeling too great. Plus it’s 2 AM here so I’m gonna call it a night. Please look out for TJR for me and his photos and things. I think he’s starting the day off by playing JL again so enjoy. Good night.

I think after reading everyone’s comments and also chatting with some people there’s something that needs to be addressed. It sort of was a little bit but needs a bigger conversation. And that is her family. I sort of feel and please correct me if I’m wrong, but that the mother was already cheating on the father before he ever died because it seems that the stepfather was already there during the father‘s funeral and moved in really quickly. So that’s a whole level of trauma all in itself not to mention everything else they put her through. This is a family of monsters pervert in his own circle of course. This girl was failed from basically her young teenage years through adulthood and I feel that no one is holding the family responsible properly. Not only did they treat her the way they treated her, but after the fact, she was not a victim to them, but the “seductress“ as the aunt put it. How does any mother in her right mind treat her daughter that way? I hope that the pervert goes to prison for life, but I also hope the family gets justly punished as well.

I think he was just a normal kid in college and then as time came for him to graduate, he started to change and basically became a younger version of his father.

He has no concept of happiness or contentment or any of that like he’s going to be just like his old man.

Are you fighting the perv or the commentators?
I haven’t even watched the three episodes because I’m waiting for the afternoon. I’m too chicken lol.

Did you ever consider that this makes sense for Wen Yifen's characterization in the drama? It's so clear that…
Thank you for your kind words. I think we should also take into consideration the fact that not just the pervert but her family had a massive job in her PTSD. They are as much to blame as he is because if he tried once, and then came back years later with them, she had to endure years and years of psychological torture. People do deal with trauma differently. We are all different. But what I find interesting in this comment section is that every single person is only paying attention to her and no one is paying attention to him. Yes, he’s in the dark. Yes, he doesn’t know but he is also human and he can also be hurt beyond measure. So maybe we should also Reach out to hand to him and say she loves you but she needs time or she needs space or something. I do not think this production team handled that very well. Maybe they were going for more episodes I don’t know.

Yes, thank you. We are not blaming her for her trauma. However, I will speak solely as someone with PTSD though…
Of course not. As you mentioned above her biggest issue was communication. But I hope in tomorrow’s episodes that portion will be resolved. I’m just too chicken to watch three episodes tonight because I can’t do well with angst in the evening, but I will wash them tomorrow or later today rather.

I too am speaking from experience, but mine is more personal because I suffer from PTSD and even though there are different forms of PTSD as in causes the symptoms and how people react are more or less similar. Some can be extreme some can be less some can be stable. There is no healing date for PTSD, especially after something as traumatic as an assault. I understand her from her point of view. No, love can’t heal overnight; however, ML has gone above and beyond to earn her trust and as someone with PTSD I would’ve clung to him as opposed to run away. And faced whatever it was head on with him because I think that’s what makes someone with this condition stronger. They even had a conversation where she said no matter what happens you will always catch me and he affirmed at that no matter what in this lifetime I will always catch you.

I just think that this added arc in this drama as opposed to what the novel readers said was done was unnecessary. Maybe they did it for stretching out episodes I don’t know, but I think had they done it the way it was originally written. It probably would’ve made more sense.

To all commenters below we are not undermining Wen Yi Fan ofcourse continuous SA will really have a huge blow…
Yes, thank you. We are not blaming her for her trauma. However, I will speak solely as someone with PTSD though not because of her type of trauma. At some point of stability and rationality a person with PTSD even when the trigger whether it’s an evil human (like in her case), combat or objects (associating with traumatic events) are in view and the person who is your companion/protector is near you that’s who you latch onto. You don’t run the other direction. That’s how it is in real life; what was portrayed on screen is not.

Who fooled you guys and made you believe that WYF was healed? Her PTSD is still there, she just fell in love and…
No, her PTSD was not healed. In fact PTSD is one of those things that is unfortunately incurable however is treatable. I speak from experience though not her experience. I said the same thing when I was watching the white olive tree.
