Honestly, I go into every single drama without any expectations even if it’s an anticipated drama like this one is. Just because I have had anticipated dramas absolutely bomb on me in the past (and this was before I fell down the cdrama rabbit hole lol) and I learned my lesson. And usually that’s because of horrible writing.

None of the platforms are perfect, but I think out of all the major ones, the absolute worst is MGTv because they never offer subs on pretty good dramas or very rarely sell them to international players.

That could be very probable too. It’ll most likely bug the hell out of me and I will wake up at 5 AM my time I’m on the East Coast of the US and check the platform to see if it premiered or not. Lord knows I’ve done that before. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I watched that one too. I had no problem. So I’m hoping that this one also will not have a problem. I don’t know what region of the world you are, but if you are going to get it first, please let the rest of us know whether it’s locked or not. That way we will know whether I need to switch my VPN to a different country, renew my VIP or look for it on unfortunately illegal sites. Also, what I find ironic is that there are news reports that the platform is basically facing bankruptcy so wouldn’t it make more sense to unlock these regional locations to get more revenue? Their business models make zero sense to me.

I guess we would have to ask someone in Australia, whether they have been able to see any of the series in the last two years I guess.

I totally understand what you’re talking about and it would be great to have it on platforms like prime and Netflix to give it more exposure but when it comes to mainland data, they only care about the main platform and how much it receives. My whole point of the original post was to have it not be regionally locked on the actual platform.

I’m in the US and I saw exactly when they dropped on the platform. I prefer to support the drama on the actual platform as opposed to Viki or others unless I have to. I saw the dramas from 2024 Fangs of Fortune and snowy nights on the platform. I also know winter song from late last year to this year was broadcast on the platform. Though I didn’t watch it because I wasn’t interested, I certainly had the option to.

That’s a plus; IQIY on X also posted something yesterday so there’s hope plus it being in their “Love On” list is a big deal as those always air everywhere.

Love On is all from this platform and they have all been broadcast internationally. I have seen personally five or six from the list if you go up top, you can click on “IQIY’s Love On” as related to title and you will see the entire list of all the dramas with a few that have not been released yet.

Hopefully, it’s not going to be a long day.
