If there were 4 to 5 hour breaks you would see the actors walk back-and-forth between their trailers or rest areas, and those were nonexistent last night. Furthermore, though the actors are professional, they did sign contracts, and they are under the thumb of the director. If he says we’re filming for the next 10 hours straight, that’s what they’re going to do. Again he’s different from other directors. There is no studio they were filming outside or inside of a building. You have to watch how it’s shot throughout to understand what we are talking about. Fans were out there this entire time some did go back to their locations and sleep for about three hours, but the actors didn’t get that chance. And even when they sit down to eat, there’s a timeframe on that or they can only snack in between shots. If it was a professional set with proper time management, nobody would be this upset. If it starts happening to other actors, you will see their fandom’s start complaining too. Professional judgment would be ideal and yes, normal human bodies can’t withstand that kind of deal but GJM just doesn’t care. Therein lies the problem. It’s not like a Hollywood set when an actor gets tired or exhausted. They can just say I’m done and they walk off the set and rest. It doesn’t work the same way here.

TJR filmed up to 24 hours and there were so many shots of certain scenes that ended up on the cutting room floor thanks to GJM‘s indecisiveness. Meanwhile, he and—I’m totally sure—the rest of the cast had the same issue because I remember the cut scenes very clearly. And they had to film for so many hours a day or a night or a combination of the two only not to have those scenes even make it into the show. So fans of TJR right now because of the last 19 to 20 hour workday were very understandably upset. Also, and this is not proven to be fact, but GJM has supposedly said or announced at some point in the last year or two that he was going to go to a college or university and take classes on being a director. Now none of this has come to fruition, which of course leaves people wondering what the hell he was talking about in the first place. So just some run of the mill news here and there.
