Oh ok; thanks for explaining. And apples are very easy to carry around. It’s not like they’re given many presents or little trees or anything of that nature. I think that’s actually a pretty good symbolic gesture.

No idea. I personally don’t celebrate Christmas but I’ve never heard of apples being given for Christmas. I celebrate Hanukkah and that’s when we give out apples and honey. So maybe they got their tradition slightly mixed up but it’s a great gesture nonetheless.

He’s kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. He wants to get some rest, but he doesn’t want to disappoint his fans. However, a lot of the fans take advantage of that and that’s where I get extremely frustrated.

LMAO some fans are too delusional
They’re creating very unnecessary and hazardous problems for him. I think because he feels like they stand out there for hours for him that he needs to collect the letters and take their blessings and maybe perform these little tricks but at the end of the day it’s all about choices. They don’t have to stand out there the entire time. They could go come back, do whatever, but they still have to respect him just like all the other fandom‘s respect their own people.

I feel very uncomfortable right now. TJR’s fan club issued a 3rd statement asking his offline fans to basically stop asking him to perform tricks (tell me hbd, what’s your dog’s names, give me a heart sign, etc) and the mailbox thing in the freezing cold after working for lord knows how many hours. It deprives him of proper resting time. I see it on Weibo and DY every damn day unless they specifically say he’s not available. I don’t understand why fans keep doing this? He doesn’t want to be rude to them; gives them hot tea, dumplings, juice but at the same time he needs to set that boundary too. I just feel really bad for him. 😔
