The amount of antagonists in this thing needs to start shrinking we’ve got him then we’ve got the Empress then we have her son, that eunuch or two now this Duke dude aka ML‘s dreadful father will never see the light of day so we got him gone. The step monster is gone. I just hope that the rest of these rebellious SOB‘s start getting taken down.

I hope they’re not bluffing just because I don’t trust actors when they say that there’s going to be an HE after the trauma AJTL caused us. But I do have a little bit of hope that it is an HE just because we’ve not seen their little moments together that obviously can’t be done until they are fully back together on the right track; same brain, whatever. And those were in the original trailer so hopefully they didn’t get cut.

Maybe because it’s doing so well that they want to drag it out. Or we may get express toward the end of the week that’s a possibility too.

If she plays an evil character well then she should go for it. It doesn’t matter and it shouldn’t matter to her what others say. This is her career and her choice. Yes, fans are crazy. Yes, they think they own actors and they can hate on them and bully them. However, at the end of the day, the actors are the ones that choose their roles, not the fans. I have personally seen JJY in only two other things one series I didn’t like it all and that was RFY with Joseph and that’s because the writing was completely off. Had nothing really to do with the leads and the other was this year’s sword and fairy 4 with CZY where I thought she did a decent job. But as an actor one must take on versatile roles so that they’re not typecast as a particular character. So if she is playing a villain or a demon or something not good in this series, that’s a very good thing for her.

P.S. Villain roles are very good for actors that usually play protagonists. Because then it shows other directors that may be interested in them that they have more layers and are versatile. If CDL plays an antagonist, that’s also very good for her. In all of the dramas that I have seen her in, I don’t think I have ever seen her in an antagonist role. if this series gives both of these young women these opportunities then that’s a very good thing for their future careers.

He arrived recently and is on his way to make up and then the site. Fan site posted him getting off the bullet train surrounded by four very burly security guards. I was very happy to see that because it used to be just him, one short little dude and a female assistant and now he’s got the security that he deserves when he travels. Oh and XZG wasn’t in the schedule for today though both Joseph and YA (who himself returned last night) plus both girls and a slew of others.

So then there’s some sort of a cure or antidote because otherwise this is going to be another HE turned into an SE ending. Though I don’t see it happening. And someone below said that the poisoning is only for the return of some gray hairs and not for him to die ultimately.

Is this filming or already filmed or what’s the deal with it?

Gala Zhang always does these detective characters and so well, though first or second time I’m seeing him in a costume drama (this is also first costume detective character).
