OK gallery guy is giving me the creeps to the 10th level. He appeared at the end of episode seven again. What is his motive of trying to get close to ML? To turn him into a criminal mastermind? To feed his own desires? Like SY needs to turn head and run the F out of there!

Did you see the last episodes pre-credit scene where his father was accidentally shot by XL’s pistol when he’s trying to stupidly wrestle it away from the cop? That gives him all the reason in the world to hate this cop. Plus the cop is now married to the Wen family sister.

It’s not just you. I really wish that they did not include romance in this. Or write it stronger if so. I agree with what you said up top. I think the bonds of their group was like a family unit like brothers and sisters and yes, it hinted at romance, which is fine. But I just really love the bonds that they formed through the cases that they went through and The Troubles and the tragedies. I think if they had focused less on the romance that didn’t quite get to where it needed to go it would’ve been better. And absolutely her character was written really one dimensional. And again, I have no qualms with the actress whatsoever. She was literally doing the best she could with what she was given. I just don’t understand why GJM who is usually so good with writing these complex multidimensional characters to write this one dimensional female, who is so important and integral into this plot.

Even their cars confuse me. Literally the only one I could tell apart from all the others is TJR’s because he’s got a strange looking grill in the front of his black car and his license plate is green. 😵‍💫

Today is also some form of memorial day or mourning day over there so all fan clubs (with the amount of people I follow, I think I’ve seen something like 20+ fan clubs post messages 😵‍💫) of all actors have asked fans not to post (on Weibo) anything actor related so I don’t know if we will get anything concrete. But has anyone spotted anybody on set or in make up yet?

Found out about an hour ago that TJR finished at like 3 AM today so whenever he starts I hope there’s a sizable break where he can rest and not start in the morning.

Something is starting to form in my mind from all of these past flashbacks before the opening credits. That one gangster guy that seems to be dead at least they talk about him like he was dead; the one who abducted the young ML he could be the one behind all of this, and this is his way of getting back at everyone in that family related or not. He hates the Wen family for whatever reason; them not maybe letting him be a gangster or maybe letting him do business. Now it seems SML inadvertently killed his father during an attempt to bust him when said dad tipped bad guy to run and stupidly wrestled with a cop’s gun when it went off. So maybe the original stolen gun was symbolic in that aspect. To him this is about control and revenge. He faked his own death and gathered intel to pull this off. That’s my theory so far.

It’s kind of strange but at the same time nice to know I guess. Also shows that in some aspects when it comes to marketing GJM is cheap lol. If he relies on leaks and fans, and all of that to promote his ongoing filming series.
