Another theory on who Liu Kui is: Could he be the newly introduced Kang character? Before we thought he could be that leader of the sanctuary because how else would the witch doctor get killed just when he was preparing the antidote for ML and the ambush so well executed with the bandits posing as convoy guards? Thoughts?

I don’t know they disappeared from the story so for them to reappear again is kind of random, but I do hope for a little bit more of an explanation because previews are often misleading.

From what people are saying and watching the preview, I’m getting a foreboding feeling about our ML and I don’t like it one bit. Don’t kill him off because that’s character assassination after all the growth that he went through and everything else in his life plus it would devastate the FL who’s already lost so many dear friends and family.

She’s been annoying for a while.

If you look closely in the teaser for 35 he faked his own death and he’s the guy in the cloak because the eyes match. Though a lot of people are saying, it’s the bandit leader whomever that is. Also, if ML is starting to go blind, we need that cure ASAP and someone needs to tell DW so she can help out too. He needs to stop hiding shit from her; we are so done with that idiocy crap. The foreboding feeling of him dying at the end is very real and I don’t like it. Because after everything they had gone through, they need to be triumphant not for him to just drop dead one day. If he just goes blind, but lives, that’s understandable. However, don’t kill him off. That’s character assassination if I ever saw one.

He’s always the one saving everyone or trying to. Now someone needs to save him and let him live at the end.

If whatever is happening with his poison is causing him to go blind I would rather have him be blind, but still live. I’m getting tired of all the foreshadowing of him dying at the end. He’s come so far with surviving, with amassing a fortune, and getting his revenge plus falling in love and not being alone anymore, that just him keeling over at the end would be a travesty to the character. And destroy DW as well.

He is poisoned though so sadly, there’s that massive unknown. If he dies before he gets his revenge or after, everything that he did will be for nothing. Like this story can’t lose him too.

Don't forget the bandits too. They work for someone not just the evil families and apparently Prince Ying.

A possibility that it'll finally air this year?

Oh goodness, that preview; so dumbass fakes his death and decides to “find their weakness.” I don’t think he knows what he’s getting himself into. But I do hope that this final straw brings this entire asshat family down and locates the bandits and finds an antidote for our ML.
