The only thing that always bugs me with these crime type series, I think it’s become some sort of a trope is that you can’t even pass one without them, losing a member of the squad; at least one. Last year, I watched the truth within and an unnatural fire, and in both cases they had at least one member parish and some others hurt pretty badly or just have one person always die. I have seen quite a few of these types of dramas and it doesn’t matter whether it’s about the fire department or the SWAT team or this type of homicide cop thing or whatever they can’t let a series go without at least one casualty. Now I understand because of their jobs and what not but after a while, you kind of expect that they will lose someone. Sometimes it’s understandable and other times it’s extremely unnecessary; and the way it happens is ridiculous. And judging by the closing credits, this series is no different though I don’t know which team member they will lose. It’s not going to be the ML or the SML so you’re left with a guessing game.
I am genuinely excited and is anticipating their (sub)plot.
It’s interesting what they will do and whether he’s going to become a CI too. Looks like they may combine homicide with narcotics to bring that big boss down. Appears that she also knows how to fight well.
I agree the transitions are a little abrupt and the writing on the screen is annoying as hell, but every single…
Yeah, I mean I like it but like I said the thing has flaws and I’m currently watching episode five and kind of laughing a little bit but do you know what you gotta do.

Because this is a no romance show, I don’t think it’s she went down the wrong path and turn straight because of love it just doesn’t strike me as that type of show. Thank you for your kind words on my reviews and opinions.

I don’t think the entire show is going to hinge around that. I think the last case will probably be bringing down the druglords and if you watch the opening or closing, I should say credits it shows her in some location wearing some kind of mechanics shirt with an earpiece and her hair tied up so not her usual glamour girl wear, and she’s typing on some computers and then she’s trying to not get caught by someone or two dudes and then one of the dudes gets hit with a pipe and it’s the ML helping her escape so I think she is a CI. I think she’s with the narc division honestly; I mean, otherwise why would they introduce the narc division in the first place? I also I’m not watching for him. I thought the whole strange and unusual cases portion was interesting. Well, the serial killer became a serial killer after he killed more than three people. I mean, he could’ve called the police when his father was first harmed, but he chose not to and just waited until both of his parents were harmed and dead because of these relatives and it just made him lose his mind and become a mindless soulless killer. The only people he spared were kids otherwise anyone who got in his way cops included were fair game. I actually just posted a comment in relation to this whole thing so you can check it out as it’s my musings about everything.
So the drug folks think they can corrupt ML that’s going to be interesting for them to realize that tipping off more cops is not good for business. I still think and hope that I’m right in the theory that she’s the CI. I really hope that if that’s the case, she lets it be known other than the narcotics division being introduced and having us guess for the entire time until it becomes apparent or something. Also wondering whether she was the one who pulled the trigger with those for people, whether they really are deceased, or whether that was all set up by the narc division to fool, even her druglord dude. I mean, we don’t see the entire video even when it says well done to her or he says I guess. It would suck if she really turned to the dark side and will be screwing with ML. I don’t think so, but we don’t know. Apparently the original synopsis of the series was that ML, SML, FL joined forces to bring down evil so gives me a glimmer of hope she’s on the good side not the bad side but we will see how it goes. I mean if she’s been undercover/CI for five years so she’s got to be convincing in everything. Having said that she does have periods where she’s alone, isn’t wearing some listening device and not followed so maybe she does have a contact person in the narcotics division where she gives all the information to. All just my speculation and musings just like yesterday. Right now I’m less interested in the drug side and more interested in homicide catching the serial killer as we transition into case number three.
So after ep 6, Gong Jun is not drawing me in: in fact he’s bringing me down with his constant mopey sulky look.…
I don’t find his portrayal this far as sulky. I think it’s more guarded. And the fact that he bickers with his roommate, shows that his mentor or a master since he calls him Shifu, the captain is trying to get him away from his trauma. I mean, if you look at it, not all of the cops around him are jovial and fun. There are plenty of them that are always serious and almost never smile. As for the romance thing, hopefully there won’t be any; other than the slight mentions obviously of his past and the few people interested in each other and that’s it. Thankfully no tag; I hate when that stuff is crammed into a crime thriller that doesn’t need it or any other series for that matter. The cases so far we’ve solved two the serial killer thing. I’m glad they brought him down. He was just getting completely out of control.
